If I remember correctly, Jesus hands the gun to Santa... But even if the gun materialized in Santa's hand out of nowhere, it clearly has a silencer on it, and thus the sound should be similar to, if not identical to, the gun fired earlier by Jesus. In my wildest nightmares, I never thought I'd be a ...

Re: Religious Tolerance

[quote=" no need to be ignorant...[/quote] How was that ignorant in any way? Or is that a slang term with which I'm not familiar? Fact: All Catholics are Christian. Fact: Not all Christians are Catholics. Fact: I am an atheist. I'm just seeking clarification. Which of these statements from my previo...

Possible, I suppose...

I suppose it is possible and Clyde's dad could commute, but in the world of South Park I think my explanation is more likely.

Religious Tolerance

Um, yeah... all Catholics are Christians, but not all Christians are Catholics. I'm an atheist, but some people would just call me a decisive agnostic. At least I don't have a bunch of crap coming out of my mouth. But what were we talking about again? Oh yeah, white Tokens. Sure, I've seen 'em. In f...

Correct!

Yeah, the volume on the DVD's seems to be all over the place. There are points at which the underscoring blasts over characters talking. Sometimes the audio goes in and out during scenes. It isn't extreme, but it makes me wonder about the care taken in producing these box sets.

No, New Country = Bush

I think the argument in "I'm A Little Bit Country" was that country music was, in general, taking the side of pro-war fanatics. The link you posted, which does indeed suggest that country singers are capable of criticizing Dubya, only states that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill were pissed off over Bush's...

Super Picky Blooper From 617: Red Sleigh Down

Jesus kills two guys on the roof. He jabs one of them in the throat with a knife, then uses a silenced handgun to kill the other. Later in the episode, Santa uses the same handgun to kill his interrogator. When Jesus uses the gun, the sound is suppressed. When Santa uses it, it sounds more like the ...

Good eye...

Not much, huh? I would say those are pretty astute observations. Sure, it's not as big an error as, say, having a character die and then show up in a later episode, but... Oh wait... Never mind. Sometimes I think Matt and Trey intentionally make errors in order to make watching the show more interes...

Butters Peeing his Pants

It's typical South Park for a scene not used in the show to be used for an ad the week/day/hour before the show is aired. Butters pissing himself while the Butt Out people yelled at him was used in a promo but didn't make the final cut of the episode. The strange thing about this one, though, is tha...

Not really a blooper...

They're all football fans, right? For some reason in South Park's Canada everything is geared toward simple-minded American TV viewers, and since none of the fans has a line to him/herself, they need not be identified beyond an "f" connoting "fan." It's not a mistake, and it's not laziness, it's an ...

Yarmulke

Yeah, I thought I saw that too. All I could make out was Gerald, but I'll look again to see if Sheila is there too. I always wondered why someone would be wearing a yarmulke in a Catholic church, and I'm glad to find out my mind isn't just making things up. By the way, I don't want to get the modera...

Episode 505: Terrance and Phillip: Behind the Blow

During the Earth Day preparations, Clyde is working on a Global Warming booth and tells the douchy ponytail environmentalist that his dad is a geologist who says there is no concrete evidence for global warming. The problem is that it has been established that Randy, Stan's dad, is the only scientis...
