Re: Do you not watch Family guy because of South Park?

I don't. I've been a big fan of both for many years - through the good and the bad. To be honest, the whole 'feud' has been so severely blown out of proportion - it reminded me of a situation here in the UK where we have a comedian called Michael McIntyre. Whilst he has a huge fan following, many co...

Re: *1406: 201* Post-Air Discussion

Aside from the obvious controversy, I really enjoyed this episode. It's rewarding, as a long time South Park fan, to be given an episode that there are nice little references to previous episodes/storylines. It was just a funny episode - I preferred it to the last one which I felt was doing everythi...

Re: Things that PISS YOU OFF!!!

I really despise 'repeated insulting banter' - f*ck off. Lighthearted stuff is great (which I do all the time) but recently, two of my college buds have taken up this idea of 'ganging' up and constantly going on and on and on and making it so damn annoying that you can't be serious - everything's a ...

Re: *1302: The Coon* Post-Air Discussion

Nice episode. I usually felt that some of the past seasons had a terrific episode starter and then it's second episode of the season was crap. This totally threw that out of the window - absolute cracker of an episode. It was exciting, funny and had some nice references throughout - even I was rooti...

Re: Do any of you really like family guy?

The newest episode was absolutely rank - the fact that it had about six minutes of random music in the entire episode pissed me off to no end. But the main criticism is that it just wasn't funny - but I despised that OJ episode. What a waste.

Re: South Park Golden Age?

I'd say the very best South Park you'll ever find, just looking at the majority of earlier seasons, are from Seasons 5 to 9. Whilst Season 10-13 had some classic episodes, the majority of them seem to fizzle out and get worse in quality as you go along (depending on who you ask). Yes, the animation ...

Re: *1301: The Ring* Post-Air Discussion

Why are people bitching about the "good 'ol days"? What do you mean the show isn't like it was? They've stopped the political sh*t, Kenny died, a Giant Mickey Mouse is the exact thing you'd expect from the early seasons, Mr. Slave is back, Wendy is back, Mr Garrison is back, Cartman is ge...

Re: Woe is Me- a whining/venting thread

Have things changed. Wow. Since I made that post, I've actually managed to turn stuff around. After a really long discussion with my uncle (mothers brother) and realizing that my mother, although she'll never admit it, was truly sorry for all the sh*t over the years, I patched things up with her. It...

Re: I gotta be the least prolific poster on here

Me. I'm a new season person, myself. The problem I have is that alot of the discussion threads are bombarded by one-sentance posters or posters with lacking English skills (no offence) and so it's hard to get some proper good discussion because of trolling and immaturity (which resorts to attempted ...

I'm a veteran, me. I just don't post often enough to be a regular. I miss Cartman's Top Enemy or a name along those lines - he was alot of fun to banter/discuss with.

Ah, the old days.

Re: *1301: The Ring* Post-Air Discussion

It sure has been a while. Nice to be back. I loved this episode. The fact that Mickey Mouse was the main antagonist made it even better. There were some great funny scenes a few underlying 'oh god' moments (with the Jonas brothers spraying their 'foam' onto the kids and the shot after) and all endin...

Re: South Park, Censorship and Big Will

I kind of feel for Big Will. This forum is huge... and so having to patrol it, ridding us all of those annoying people that lurk on forums such as the "trolls" must be hard work, especially as frustrating as it should be for people just to shut up and follow the rules. And seeing as he's t...

Re: Season 12- The worst season by far!

I think the problem with South Park is that they've been on for so long and been so controversial, smart and witty over the past eleven seasons that the people behind the show can do what they want, when they want and people will still lap it up. Let's face it - South Park will always be South Park....

many other jews were Can you name some of these nurotic freaks who are offended by Jewish people being on TV, or do they only exist in your head? Even if this episode was being offensive to jews, it's not the first offensive thing they've ever said, this is South Park, and if the Jews could laugh a...

Re: Are the creators starting to lose the touch of comedy?

Sorta. The style of comedy is changing - that I do know. It is becoming alot more 'smart' - cultural references, each episode being the question of "What will they take the piss out of this time?" and becoming an animation series that rips on people, opinions and events. Every now and agai...
