Thanks again, as always, angeldeb82 :)

I have signed up with Adobe to get automatic notices about the latest flash releases. I even signed up for the updates to actually update on their own automatically. However, it has never happened :?

Thanks to you my system is always up-to-date (at least as far as flash is concerned). I appreciate your posts on this :D

*double post*

Google has just turned 12 years old. Imagine a world without Google. Now imagine how people lived prior to the 12 years without Google.

In order to celebrate Google's 12th year, I will pass on a hella lame joke about this I heard the other day:

Google is 12 years old. Get all the info you can from Google now because next year Google will be a teenager and as all teenagers Google will refuse to answer any questions :P

You know something? That really is a lame joke. Sorry!

Remember Firefox 16, the browser that was supposed to be released two days ago? Well, the upgrade got pulled offline due to a vulnerability. I just hope Mozilla fixes the security hole soon. :cartmansad:

Yep. Just updated my phone as a matter of fact. Actually, that was the first time I've ever gotten a prompt to update flash on my phone.

The SIRI "equivalent" on Galaxy Note 2 phones ("Google Now") has a bug in it.

It's actually an Android problem, but the bug is not on all Android phones. The Galaxy Note 2 is one of the phones involved. The S3 is not.

Android/Google knew about this bug since October, yet the bug remains.

Say into a Galaxy Note 2: "What is a giraffe?"

You will hear the answer. The last sentence, however, is out of context. The last sentence of the answer is: "he (the giraffe) now praises the iPad."

A few months ago, on The Tech Guy Show, Leo LaPorte cautioned ppl to disable JAVA. Not JavaScript. JAVA. The reason, security issues. The hackers use the JAVA on your computer for their own purposes.

Now it official. The U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security would like us all to temporarily disable JAVA. Here's the story:

Yeah, I've disabled Java for Internet Explorer 8 2 days ago. So far so good.

I wonder if that's how someone got my credit card info a couple of months ago. Had to get me a new card number and everything. :/

That might have happened if you got an e-mail from your bank or credit card company that asked for you to login by clicking on a link in the e-mail and then requested information your bank should already have, like username and password.
