I'm pretty sure this from the 70's since Sid Vicious didn't live past 1979.

A tribute to Judas Priest, as guitarist K. K. Downing has officially called it quits with the band!
"Diamonds and Rust," their '77 cover:

Here's an early live version of "La Villa Strangiato" by Rush. I think it's from either late '78 or early '79.

I dunno why. I always seemed to dig Chicago.

Then again, I mostly dig their stuff with Terry Kath.

From 1976, Bill Cosby tried to mix his comic routines with music. Here, he spoofs James Brown with "I Luv Myself Better Than I Luv Myself":

A bit of "Don't Stop Me Now" (1978) was recently used for a Google Doodle, paying tribute to Freddie Mercury, who would have turned 65 this past Monday.

From 1975's Masque, here's the legendary American progressive rock group Kansas with "The Pinnacle". Enjoy!

I posted this in the What are you listening to AGAIN thread in Hot Topics, but I felt it was appropriate for this thread, too. Here's Emerson, Lake, and Palmer with "Karn Evil 9" from 1973's Brain Salad Surgery.
