Not really winter here. It's 15°C (59°F) and partly cloudy.

And happy Christmas/Kwanzaa/Hanuka/Festivus/Newton's birthday!

This has been a very warm winter. Unlike North America we haven't had any snow, or sub-zero temperatures (Celsius), except one week in early December.
Some days, when it was sunny, it was warm enough for a t-shirt.
We should get mildly lower temps and a bit of snow next week, but it's doubtful it will stay.

I only got a small taste of those Arctic blasts over the holidays. Working this job in New Mexico, it has been much more mild.

I try not to rub it in to people back home when I'm in short sleeves while their thermometers don't make it past 0.

We've been in the 20's and 30's the past couple of days. I think it got as low as 17 last night.

Well, I was wrong. Snow wasn't expected next week, but this. And it snowed yesterday whole day. There's around 10cm (4 inches) of snow. It took me by surprise. It's sunny now, and the temperature is around freezing point.

Spring starts on Thursday, March 20, at 9:57am PDT. On that day and time the vernal equinox will occur where the sun will cross directly over the Earth's equator and both day and night are about equal in length. In the southern hemisphere, however, this mark the beginning of fall.

Spring (in the northern hemisphere) will last three months until June 21 at 3:51 am PDT, and then summer will go until the autumnal equinox on Sept. 22 at 7:59 pm.

(Winter begins on December 21, at 3:03 PM PST).

Spring has sprung :P

Now that spring has arrived to one of the drought areas of the U.S. (SoCal), rain is in the forecast for later this week :o

Mid-Spring; going from the low '80s to triple digits this week.

Usually, SoCal has "May Gray" and "June Gloom." Don't see any of this happening this year. Just heat, wind, and summer in spring 2014.

This has been the wettest summer since official measurements started.
First we had catastrophic floods is June. Thousands of people lost their homes in Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia, and there were even some deaths.
Since then a week didn't go by without at least some rain. For the last two months we had a rainy day followed by a sunny, hot day.
Today it was pouring all morning and part of the afternoon, with temperature around 20°C. It's hard to believe yesterday was sunny and hot.

I hate winter. The average temperature seldom drops below 20 ° F (-7 ° C), but because of strong winds at this time of year, sometimes happens very cold, snow drops out a rarely, so, we can`t go skiing.
This year the winter was extremal, in the same way as in Europe and America. In life of anything similar never saw.

I do not like summer, too hot. Typically, temperature kept in a range + 100/104 ° F (37/40 ° C), sometimes higher, and it is normal.
Although, you will not believe me, certainly...

The best season is a spring!

Now I ready to sell soul for good heavy rain, two weeks weather hot as in hell.
