I just wrote a novel. It's very satirical. Half the people who read it - get it. The other half don't. And then they whine about how it's too fantastical, too fictional, too violent, too this, too that... SMACK! If you don't like something, don't read it! I'm not holding a gun to their heads!
Funnily enough, the British seem to get it more than the Americans, which I find interesting, since South Park is American and very popular. So WTF?
South Park fans - I need your support!
Check out this Amazon blurb: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Endangered-Species-Book-Diary-Eco-Warrior/dp/0957355831/
If you like what you see - give it a read.
If you're too cheap to buy a copy, then go to the publisher's site, where you can download a free excerpt: http://www.seam.tv/my-library/
Then - if you like what you read - support the author (that's me). I like Kona coffee. Sorry, I have expensive tastes.
If you want to read some of the whining, check out the reviews on the American Amazon site: http://www.amazon.com/Endangered-Species-Diary-Eco-Warrior-ebook/dp/B00BEAX38G/
Long live satire!!
Let them come to you. Don't go to them.
Don't go on forums spamming your product. Let everyone else do that.
