"Hummels & Heroin" first episode to have under 1 million rated viewers

Did this (and the general decline in viewership, Season 21 had two other episodes that had under 1 million) influence someone at South Park Studios' thinking about the show going forward?

It shouldn't, since Matt and Trey still run it and have said they'd quit only if Comedy Central kicked them off the air, and Comedy Central likes the show too much to do that. Having said that, if they do get kicked off next year or in 2020, they have their games to continue with, their play, and maybe some movies to produce in the future.

Cord cutting trend. More people are watching online (It's actually Hulu's most watched show) and less people have cable, and as a result access to Comedy Central on TV.
