I've just re-watched Team America: World Police, for like the sixth time, and I still saw something new to laugh about. This time it was the way they didn't even bother to include the little pyramid at the end, and also the way Luxor's Valley of the Kings was visible from a Cairo market. The film has aged really well, like a fine Scotch in an old oak cask.
It's now certain that Trey and Matt are up there with the masters, like Elim Klimov, Andrei Tarkovsky, Stanley Kubrick, Penny Woolcock and Alejandro Jodorowsky.
But do the pressures of the benchmarks they've set get to them?
It sounds like an ass-kissing question, but it's not. I'm genuinely interested in the answer!
