You know, it dawned on me tonight that I never really did a commemorative pic for this thread up until now. When I established the AngusArt name here in February 2007, I had no idea how far I'd go with it.

All the support I got here, as well as dA and YouTube, has been a great help, and I owe it all to YOU!

So, here it is, my FIVE YEAR commemorative!

And remember that South Park Heroes sig I had WAAAAAY back on Page 1 of this thread?

Well, I got the idea to make a new rendition of it:

Maybe I'll do the same with some of my other early sigs, just to show how long a way I've come since then...

Not bad! Portuguese, right?
I also like this version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlNgx3Ar-do

@uB: There may be a series or two that other YouTubers have done in SP style. Just gotta know where to look.

UPDATE: A photo of a sign at a golf course. My bro took this picture years ago:

NEW VIDEO UPLOADED!

I respond to the great series of videos by YouTube's davemadson by doing a slideshow inspired by him.

He made that series of Looney Tunes Intro Bloopers, 28 episodes in all, and there were a bunch of spoofs I would have liked to have seen. So, I put this together, with as many of the different ideas as I had in my Gallery, and a couple of extras for the hell of it.

I may not have the Photoshop, the Speakonia or any of the other audio programs, or even great animation skills, but I do have the imagination to pump out all THIS:

I don't know why, but the Batman one really cracked me up.

^ It would be more than perfect, too, Bug, since DC's property has been distributed by the studio since the late '60s!

How many of you remember these from my past pages here?

Back in 2005, I had created this OC in hope that one day, I would try to make a story for him. I'm a long way away from establishing everyone involved, but I found some old notes, and with them was an old map I drew up for the series, where everything would take place.

That map is now re-created and on display:

I want to make character files next, once I get a few more projects out of the way, requests and all, but that's a long process at the moment.

And for the main story, I would guess that the origin would be told in five or six acts, or books, as there would be quite a bit worked into it.

Well, Bug, I have a little something for you to enjoy in the meantime:

Character Profiles!

I think I goofed on the blacksmith there. Looks like Popeye and Butters had a baby.

Welp, something like that can be fixed...somehow...

So I leave a video comment on davemadson's page for Looney Tunes Intro Bloopers 29, linking my version of the Logo Spoofs, earlier today.

I get a message on my page some time later from dave himself...and he Liked it!

:D

I don't have his budget, but it feels good when the person who inspires you gives his positive feedback!

Finally, some new updates! Been a while since I've been able to do this. A busy schedule and dA requests will do that to ya.

For the SP part of this listing, I give you a cross between Cartman and Red Dwarf:
"Mr. Flibble is very pissed off."

A fellow Deeve's favorite cartoon is a 1942 MGM short called "Blitz Wolf," which has Tex Avery's wolf character posing as a certain German dictator terrorizing the Three Little Pigs. But what if they could have updated things, up until over a year ago?
Osama bin Howlin

Family Guy's neighborhood perv poses as a Time Lord:
Doctor Herbert
"There's a 'jelly baby' in my pocket if you want it; just reach right in and take it."

"This Team Is SO BAD..."
It's like "Yo mama" for baseball. A good number of punchlines are in the Description. I came up with a few; others are credited for their Donations.

Team Fortress 2 meets Doctor Who as Pyro asks:
"Are You My Mummy?"

And with this year marking the 50th anniversary for the Amazing Spider-Man, I came up with a number of commemorative pics, for about as many different costume designs as I remember seeing:

On dA, there are also many Groups dedicated to certain fanbases. There are a few for South Park, a few for video game characters, as well as some for other cartoons, YouTube Poop vids, shows, movies and whatever else.

But there was one category for which I could not find a Group, which is a shame because I've seen a few Deeves, other than myself, come up with some really clever ideas for spoofing corporate logos and entertainment idents.

Well, that problem has now been resolved.

BEHOLD!! I give you my new Group, Logo-Loco!
Everything so far is in Favorites, a bunch of my own and quite a few from others.

Some time ago, I started looking into a couple of graphic novels compiling web comics from a series called Looking for Group.

Among the elves, gnomes, giants, dragons and all other stuff they have in these stories, there's one character who steals the show, a dark warlock who's bent on death and destruction.

And the occasional baby.

To eat.

Anyway, here are a couple of pics based on his character:
Richard YLKPDY
Death, Death Everywhere...

Other latest pics include:
That Fxxxing Dracula, based on his look for that new Hotel Transylvania movie.
("I do not say BLEH-BLE-BLEHH!!")

"Why So Serious, Dib?"--Based on a template created by another Deeve.

Enjoy!

With a few tweaks, that Fxxxing Dracula could be a Dinkleberg meme.
