Say what they will about today's animated shows compared to the "classics," but recently, I started watching more of Regular Show. And there were a few eps I found to be quite funny!

With the show in mind, I had a couple of "Keep Calm" ideas for crossover gags, and to my surprise, I couldn't find these specific ideas on Google Images! Did I really beat them to it this time?

Muscle Man: http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -438970050
Benson: http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -438971274

And it just so happens that the show's creator set up a dA page some time ago, too!

How could I possibly forget to link these here?! It's Week Two of the big tourney, and only the dA public got to see everything so far...

I'm talking, of course, about Meme Madness IV!
http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -436558343

The 64 entries: http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -436559381
The Round of 32: http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -441645318
The Sweet 16: http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -442321106

All leading up to the Elite Eight this weekend: http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -443273140

Also, as an early birthday gift, I got a $20 credit for Steam. I found a couple of cool games, one of which is that Garry's Mod, where you can take characters from Team Fortress 2, Portal and the like and turn it all into a 3-D cartoon studio.

I found out how easy it is to turn the TF2 Demoman into the infamous "SEEMAN." With that, I blended the image in with a poster idea:

Also, here's the update on Meme Madness IV, now down to the Final Four!

Yesterday, those of us who subscribe to YouTube's davemadson got a bit of a surprise when he announced that he was closing his account. He was the one who used Windows XP to add the text-to-speech voices like Microsoft Sam to his logo blooper and Funny Signs videos. But now that there won't be anymore service for XP, he had to cease production.

Then I find out that he deleted each and every one of his videos by deleting his account! If he can't make any more videos with XP, that's one thing, but you would THINK he'd leave his repertoire open so that we could look back on our favorite moments, wouldn't you?

Anyway, I did a no-audio tribute to his channel:

Meanwhile, here are some other new ideas:

Meme Madness IV highlights:

I'd like to get as much help here as I can. Last week, I submitted a video paying tribute after davemadson closed his YouTube channel and deleted his videos.

More tributes have come in since then, and I was surprised to see that someone had used MY version of MS Sam for his video!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xw4NeNYB5d0
I did comment saying that I noticed my Sam was being used, but perhaps I was too nice about it. Perhaps this person could put my AngusMcTavish name in the Description if he's "persuaded" by other users?

Here are some South Park/Regular Show crossovers for you to gnaw on:

Canadianator: http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -445729920
Benson's Authoritah: http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -447174055

Team Fortress 2 Recruiting Posters:

RED: http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -446098084
BLU: http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -446097478

And here's a little bit of something inspired by an old graphic novel I found some time ago. In the late '80s, I came across a character's guest shot in a B&W TMNT comic by the name of Gnatrat. He also had his own comics that spoofed a certain more-popular superhero or two. This got me thinking: What if the latest movies were spoofed?

Some time ago, I posted the inspiration for my username, one of the Cairn terriers in our house. Well, I got a great pic of that little Angus on my cell phone, and couldn't help make this:
http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -455326850

And while I was at it with the Meme-Generator app, I found this pic, and did this:
http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -455242715

Fun with TF2 Freak faces! Here's one done entirely in Paint, crossing the Demoman's "Seeman" face with a race horse that wowed the crowd in 1938: SEEbiscuit!
http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -455240835

Speaking of the Seeman, HAD to do this:
http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com/art ... -455238016

Last fall, I had the idea for a "Silent Sam" concept (think Microsoft Sam without the voice programs), and recently made a slideshow with my renditions of the characters, with a few extras:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4yFttEBcIo
Welp, if I ever get that project underway, I might go the route of logo bloopers like davemadson did. But where he did Looney Tunes, as well as a couple of others, I was thinking more along the lines of this:

Well A) This

2. It's funny you should bring up "C is for Cookie", because the Musers were talking about favorite Cookie Monster segments on the show yesterday morning. That one topped the list.

D) I see Seebiscuit, and all I can think about is adding eyeshadow and lipstick to him like Craig Ferguson's furry friend Secretariat had done when he "went Hollywood" and moved into his new stable.

and F5) ...dammit I had an idea about Sam, but can't remember. I'ts been a long day. I'll get back to you on it.

Cool vid! Thanks for the shout-out! :D

As far as the Musers' story, well, you certainly cannot beat a classic, and you don't get much more classic than that when you talk of Cookie Monster, I'll tell you that!

Well, how about that...

I checked the link I put in last month regarding someone who used my version of MS Sam in his davemadson tribute, and now HIS channel is gone. I don't know if he'd been flagged or he just backed out, but if there was anyone who went in to see about it, thanks for the help.

Going the other way in a South Park/Regular Show crossover, I was inspired by the "Death Punchies" episode when I came up with this. However, if there was anyone you would expect to learn the art of Death Kwon Do, you know who the LAST person in South Park would be!

Every so often, I'll see someone on dA attempt at "redrawing" an earlier bit of whatever it was he/she had done some time ago. This gave me an idea: Do a "redraw" of my very first bit of art that used to grace this site as an old signature!

Here are a few more ideas I came up with for other things:
