I am putting an end to it and getting a car when I get my dosh soon and move out. I just hope old ladies are not out and about when I try and drive.
Plants stuff their pollen everywhere, all those kids who get allergies because of pollen have plant sperm in their lungs. Flowers deep throat kids :I
Also apparently we have a lot of sh*tty drivers around Boston. Which makes sense because if people don't give you a chance to merge and they keep swerving in and out of lanes...well, people are just asking for trouble around here!!
So pretty much, I don't drive because I don't give people enough space..and people won't give ME the proper space to move around safely
As I was driving down the 5 on Thursday (July 4) to make the Simi Valley firework show on time, I could see that I was going to be late. By the time I got there the show was over. There was a terrible accident with the fireworks and many people were hurt
Apparently a few fireworks went off to start the show in a normal manner, and then all of the remaining fireworks went off at the same time
The fireworks actually went into the crowd. By the time I arrived it was all over.
It seems that the company that put on the Simi Valley show has a history of "Accidents"

I'm afraid my lack of depth perception is going to make me a horrible driver.
I couldn't read a numberplate 15 feet from me but they still let me drive :S
I guess it's been a while, but you know I haven't forgotten this place.
And it's pretty dark in here, too.
I have seen that the book of mormon is finally coming to the UK so i might get to see that. Maybe.
People can't have more than one perspective at a particular time. This limits even the best of us; Darwin saw the data the guy who discovered genetics did but it didn't lead him to that fact because his perspective wasn't right for that. We need lots of other people with different views to mutually point out when each of us makes mistakes and to see things each other overlooks, at least that's how it seems to me.
Mamont wrote:Getting porn ads when streaming a cartoon made primarily for kids is somewhat disturbing. I'm talking, of course, about Adventure Time.
I know it's made for kids, but I love Adventure Time and I turned 21 last month.
I use AdBlock when streaming but that does sound a bit, well, odd.
On an entirely random/unrelated note (given the nature of this thread): Is anyone else psyched for the Neutral Milk Hotel reunion tour? I managed to score tickets to their show in Baltimore (tickets sold out in under a minute for this one) and their Thursday show in Brooklyn, NY, first of three shows they're doing at the same venue. For those who might be unfamiliar with the band, they're a relatively eclectic indie folk-rock band - I recommend their EP "Ferris Wheel on Fire" if looking for a more mellow/acoustic/folksy album, but their 2nd (and last) full-length is essential, imho. While I have eclectic tastes in music (my three favorites genres of music are rock, jazz, and metal as well as many of their subgenres but I don't dismissing any genre without hearing a band) I'm not normally one to fit in with the "hipster" crowd that an indie band like this band attracts just due to the energy and vibe of this kind of crowd seeming arrogant to me. However, something about their music really appeals to me. I think I like the trumpet playing and the vocal melodies, and the bizarre lyrics are amusing, too.
On another music-related note, I went to a show at a brand new restaurant/jazz lounge in my state last night. It just opened up last weekend but the chef knows how to cook, and though I had seen the band before, they were one of the most outstanding relatively-undiscovered (local) jazz-fusion bands I've ever heard. Their guitarist was nuts - he plays like a Larry Coryell (Spaces Revisited-era) and George Benson (Bad Benson-era) hybrid. Coryell's speed, Benson's musicality, and even some mild rock distortion and other interesting effects thrown in from time to time to liven up the music.
Also, I saw Grown Ups 2. It was pretty hilarious since I was in the mood for a cheap laugh.
Anyone else looking forward to the final episodes of Breaking Bad? What do you think will happen to Walt?
...aaaannd I'm out of random thoughts for now.
I'm looking forward to the last season of Breaking Bad, but am not looking forward to it being over and am worried the ending will suck and ruin the earlier parts of the show for me. I don't have to worry about dexter's ending sucking, that's a given, i'll be glad to not have to watch that series out of obligation anymore
