I don't shop online. I probably should...but I like the idea of "seeing" it before I purchase it :P

Also, my parents have always been sticklers about security and internet purchases. Which I can totally understand.

I have thought about looking for things on Amazon/E-bay...but some of me doesn't see the need, or doesn't want to be Jipped.

In a case like that, I'll take the Win any way I can!

Mike man, you're missing out on a whole new beautiful world!

I buy nearly everything online nowadays. Waiting in line is always such a drag and I get to not make awkward conversation with cashiers who hate their jobs and possibly their lives and your nagging girlfriend who tells you she wants to go to THIS store and THAT store until you start considering the positives of completely crossing over to the dark side and get the sudden urge to destroy everything and begin to do so, but then it all turns out to all be in your mind because you can't just bid up enough courage to do so just like your aunt Beatrice always says at every f*cking THANKSGIVING DINNER RIGHT TO YOUR f*cking FACE! I'LL CUT MY DAMN HAIR WHEN YOUR GOD DAMN TITS STOP DRAGGING ACROSS THE FLOOR YOU OLD f*cking HAG!!!!...*ahem*...scuse me...

But yeah, I've gotten some pretty good deals from online shopping, just watch for those pesky shipping costs.

Mike, you don't have to worry about online payment. Paypal is very safe. I've been using their service for years and have no complaint whatsoever, nor have I ever heard of their security being breached. If you pay only via paypal, and not leave your credit card number on various sites, you should have no problems.
What I like the most about online shopping is not having to walk through entire mall, scan every shop and lose the whole day without finding one item you were looking for. This way it's much easier, and you can always come across great offers.

If you are looking for a particular/specific item...I agree that internet shopping might be better. PayPal is good. That would basically be the only kind of internet account I would use because I KNOW it's secure. (better than using a credit card and getting accidently phished).

But I still prefer conventional shopping because A) You see it and can feel it immediately B) you can have it then instead of waiting a week (or in some cases 2-3!) and C) You can still find things/come across new items at a store.

Kensuke: I work retail right now and by saying that you could be putting me out of a job!! I need those good conversations with people. I thrive on meeting cool people...but I must say...I do hate all the retards who come through my line (I had at least 2-3 today, and one in particular....who was a real 'moron'). I don't really care for my job, I'll give you that, and you're right that I am like 90 percent of the others there...grumbling at things even worse than the customers waiting in line!! :P
