Granted. Some items it's better to shop offline. Especially shoes, because numbers can be different depending on the brand.
And, yes you have to wait for the item a week or two or maybe even a month, but... so what?
Like everything else online shopping has its ups and downs.

I don't know, I kinda like the wait. As long as it's not weeks but rather a few days, because as soon as you actually get that package in the mail it's almost like Christmas morning. I love the feeling of finally opening that box with what I wanted inside, even if it's something lame like a stapler or a sweater. Just that feeling of opening something new after waiting for it.

I suppose it's more of an opinionated stance on the subject, but I like that better as opposed to just getting up, going to the store, buying it, the end.

Today I got a cap I ordered few weeks ago. Win!
I always order bass strings online. I use DR strings. Five string set costs $30, plus $10 shipping, and it's still a lot cheaper than to buy them here (over $60). I like ordering from US and Europe. The item arrives within a week. When I order from China it takes it up to a month to get here.

Still waiting on a couple old NES games so I can vomit nostalgia.

Bass/Guitar strings are one thing I prefer to buy at the store simply because I love going to guitar center. They have walls completely covered in all kinds of guitars and basses, and they have amps put all over the store so you can take them down and play them. Plus Drum sets, keyboards and folk instruments like Banjos and Mandolins.

I'm like a kid in a candy store with the need to ROOOOCK!!!

I have roms for every NES game made on my hard drive. Less than 1 gigabite. Scary how little space all those games take up!

Yeah I used to do roms, still do for the hard-to-get games, but I'm a collector so I need the actual cartridges. I wish video games still came in those instead of discs, they're much more durable and less prone to scratching, but I suppose discs are capable of holding much more data.

That's exactly why I loved digital audio tapes so much. They were much easier to handle. But now we have flash memory. They hold much more data than CDs and are not prone to scratching.

That's why I picked up one of these today. I now have all my music and pictures in my pocket. I also saw that we carry this while I was shopping. And while it's cool as hell... damn. That's a chunk of change right nah.

:o 256 GB! I still have only my old 16 GB. But $300 for a flash drive is a bit too much.
