The funniest thing about when Cartman (or anyone else on the show) does a bit of a song, especially if you hated the original, it became more tolerable! My gf made mention of this when she heard the Cartman version of "In the Ghetto."

My personal favorite -- "Lucille" (Kenny Rogers) from the "Ginger Kids" ep.

What I'd like to hear from him:

"Big in Japan" -- Alphaville
"Undercover of the Night" -- Rolling Stones*
"Gitchee Gitchee Goo" -- Phineas and Ferb series
"Everyone's a Little Bit Racist" -- Avenue Q
"What's Up, People?!" -- Maximum the Hormone (inspired by IKyman's post)

* -- Come to think of it, I heard the song earlier today, and sang a bit of it in Cartman's voice. It's perfect! "Undercover of the NEEEEHHHHHHT!"

Pip Tweek wrote:Aight, so we've got some good suggestions here. I didn't realize it at first, but there is already a substantial amount of Cartman vocal work in the series itself. Faith+1 the album is a great idea, but that would be a separate release. I've thought of a few other tunes that Cartman has sang, so here's a possible track list so far..

Poker Face
Heat of the Moment
In the Ghetto
Morning Train (Nine to Five) (he was singing that one when he found the aborted fetuses)

Come Sail Away
I've got a Golden Ticket

Then there could be a separate album for other Cartman-composed songs

Taco-Flavored Kisses
Somalian Pirates We
Back in Time (1776)
Sea People And Me
Kyle's Mom is a Stupid Bitch
I'm Gonna Make, Make it Right
Wild Wild West

okay, now my brain hurts....

What of "Minorities" and "Swiss Colony Beeflog"?

I think it would be interesting to see how Cartman sings low death metal growls and high pitched scream lyrics. Here are my choices:
"Breakin the Law"- Judas Priest
"Live Wire"- Motley Crue
"Drop it Like its Hot"- Snoop Dog
"Mr. Brightside"- The Killers
"Dr. Feelgood"- Motley Crue
"Dream On"- Aerosmith
"School's Out"- Alice Cooper

I think the last two would be hilarious. I can just imagine Cartman trying to hit all those long notes in "Dream On".

Great. Now I can hear him doing Monty Python material. Specifically:

"Always Look on the Bright Side of Life"

"You Better You Bet" by the Who. Just the thought of Cartman shouting or screaming "you BETTEEERRR!!!" just popped into my mind, and I'm enjoying it!

Serpentine - Peaches. And he has to do it wearing the getup from the Maury show.

Heh heh, I could see him doing that, spinning a leek in his hand and everything!

Incidentally, I think that's actually "Ievan" with an I, not an L. Boy, people online make reading those titles tricky...

I've got a couple; Life In Tokyo - Japan, and Angel Eyes - Brian Ferry/Roxy Music. Actutally I just want to hear him randomly singing like the hook from the songs like he did with Faith last week.

Bermp. I recently mentioned he should do Lip Gloss in the Randome Thread. What else have y'all got?

I think Super Bass/Starships by Nicki Minaj would suit Cartman well for some reason.
