Cherokee Hair Tampons

In Cherokee Hair Tampons, the reason Kyle needs Cartman's kidney is because he is the only other person in south park with an AB- blood type. However, AB- is the universal reciever of blood, so shouldn't Kyle be able to get blood from ANY negative blood type? (A-, B-, AB-, or O) It highly unlikely that every single person in South Park is either an A, B, or AB.

That's true, i can understand if there are some people who are positive, but i don't see how they all could be. It would be like saying somebody with O- positive can't recieve any other type than that but O is the type that can recieve any type and the body doesn't reject it.

The doctor tells Stan that Cartman is the only one in Southpark with a bloodtype similar to Kyle's.

But in te episode "Cartman Sucks" Butters proclaims that he is Butters, has bloodtype AB- and that he is Bi-Curious.
How come the doctor hasn't considered Butters as a possible donor? And why didn't Butters sacrifice his kidney when Kyle needed it?
