I forgot to mention that I noticed the characters' birth dates on their Facebook profiles coincide with the current year in regards to their age.

Coincidentally, Stan's birthday was listed as October 19, 2001, which was one of the worst days of my life.

Also, Kyle had two fillings in his teeth and he's only nine? Damn, that's some bad personal hygiene.

Pretty sweet episode; best one this season in my opinion. Only downside being that there's no such thing as bad publicity.. i think facebook's shareholders will love this episode also.

Just f*cking excellent. Hilarious all the way through, the best yet. Tron, chatroulette, facebook, Mad Money (cartman) references.. loved it all.

That Yahtzee thing... hope nobody's played Farkle or Super Farkle on FB.

Oh, and truth be told, Trey does have a Facebook page. It's not the one most everyone finds, though. If you know what to look for, you'll find it. You can try getting him to add you, but he won't. I'm sure the friends he has there are IRL friends, not anyone he's met only online.

Kip Drordy - if you've seen Mask (yes, an '80s film), you may notice his resemblance to Rocky Dennis (I knew him IRL, but not very well).

Haha! Great episode! I'm completely with Stan, I hate FaceBook but my family/friends make me use it. Thankfully for me I just don't care and ignore most of the crap spam. My favorite FaceBook feature is "Block This Application".

I loved the whole Tron portion too, makes me want to watch the original movie again. Looking forward to the big Two Double Zero! This season is feeling pretty solid to me already!

I will never play Yahtzee with Stan.

For "drewble" - Man, you are right, I miss their old adventures, but we can't complain, because Matt and Trey make new Eps. That's cool and as long we watch new episodes we have to be happy. :)

Ugh, why aren't these new episodes cuttin' it for me?
Something too modern in the plot/animation?
I miss the older adventures
I don't know...anyone else feel this way?

Good ep though, 7/10

I'm looking for some season 3 stability with some season 11 spice

That was a great episode! I have a friends who's obsessed with Face Book so i can totally relate to it lol. Also the part where Stan is sucked into the computer was totally unexpected for me.

I asked this before, but does anyone know where I can watch this episode? I can't watch it here because I'm non-US.

Anyone else notice the anachronism?

Postby adamryan » Thu Apr 08, 2010 2:41 am

Stan's b'day is Oct 19, 2001? The show has marked historical incidents that make that birthdate impossible (Elian Gonzales incident, for example).

Funny episode, but not gonna lie, that seemed like a slip on their part to detail.

They don't expect you to take that date seriously, since the show started back in '97 with the boys being 8 years old - Stan's birthdate would have been back in 1988 or 1989.
