Except that Comedy Central CHOSE to censor the episode. They weren't forced. It has nothing to do with freedome of speech. They HAD the freedom. They simply chose to puss out instead of exercising it.

As for there being "virtually no freedom of speech in the US anymore?" I think you grossly under-appreciate how much freedom you have. Go travel the middle-east, or Korea or China. Live there for a year or so, and then come back and tell me that the United States has virtually no freedome of speach.

1. the use of irony, sarcasm, ridicule, or the like, in exposing, denouncing, or deriding vice, folly, etc.
2. a literary composition, in verse or prose, in which human folly and vice are held up to scorn, derision, or ridicule.
3. a literary genre comprising such compositions.

Dude, I hate grammar Natzi's as much as the next guy, but how can you talk about enlightenment while misspelling a third of your words? It's like saying "I'm a pacifist, and if you have a problem with that, I'll kill you!"

If you want peace prepare for war.

It has to do with Comedy Central and their legal department and other things that we aren't privy to. Basically, CC is afraid of terrorism from Islamic cells. And for now, CC decided to pull the episode from the episode player. However, there are other sites you can find, and of course torrents.

I can't believe that nearly 3 months after this episode originally aired that I still cannot watch it. There is a reason that South Park's disclaimer says that nobody should watch it! These Islamic bastards need to chill out... I mean for God's sake they had Kyle (A Jew) kill Jesus in one episode!

Well.. now that the episode has been nominated for an Emmy, I think it would be cool if the episode was available online...
But I guess it won't.
I also wonder if the people who vote for the Emmys were able to see it uncensored, or if they saw the same version that we did... :?

They probably saw the same version we (well, you, I haven't seen it) saw. That's the 'approved' version.
