I ship: Stan/Cartman <3
Stan: MMOOMM!!
Sharon: What is it honey? (gasp!) My baby's killed again!
Haa, I love that line.
Re: *1603: Faith Hilling* Post-Air Discussion
I also liked how Cartman and Kyle, unlike Stan and Kenny, isn't willing to conform just to fit in, and will do what's right.
7.5/10. I thought Butters was being silly, and that's why I also laughed.
Oh and by the way, I think Mr. Garrison will still be around.

*jumps up and down* Me too! Me too! In fact, my anniversary is coming up -- I saw "Spirit of Christmas" in April 1997 and was hooked from that moment!
The show gets better and better every year for me. Trey's writing has evolved into the stratosphere. I could sit and deconstruct an episode (and have, on many occasions), but basically, I think everything he writes is genius. Always always always, the writing leaves me with my mouth hanging open at how brilliant it is.
The funny goes up and down, but anything organic is gonna have ups and downs. Up, down, back, or around, I'm along for the ride as long as they have one.
Years ago M&T said they'd love to see the show evolve into something totally different, so down the road they could say, "Hey, remember 10 years ago when this show used to be about those 4 kids?" THAT'S what I'm waiting for.

So it makes sense for Cartman, Stan, and Kenny, maybe even Butters to go with the next cool thing. Kyle we know doesn't give in like that. But if they wanted two of the boys still trying to 'Faith Hill' they had to put someone with Kyle..
People change overtime. What happened 9 years ago (4-9 months in the kids' cases) won't necessarily happen again. There's more evidence that Cartman's changing because he's not treating Kyle like crap like he used to.

Because you don't like change? I think change can be good, when executed properly, when realistic, and when a main charatcer doesn't die permanently (Kenny does not count because he came back before Season 7).
Two people can hate each other, but have the same point of view on an issue. Such as what happened in this episode. And then they will work together to resolve that issue.

Things get boring after a while. Cartman and Kyle always hating each other loses its appeal if they're ALWAYS hating each other. They obviously hang out in the same circle of people so their hate is more of a love/hate or bitter sweet type of thing anyway. If two people really despised each other that much, they wouldn't even have the same friends. But if two people get some sort of a rise out of it, then they're going to secretly enjoy being around each other.
We've seen Cartman and Kyle be able to work together before, even without acting all buddy like. So sometimes you get them hating each other, sometimes only Cartman picking on Kyle, sometimes them simply working together because they have to, and sometimes teaming up, more buddy-buddy. The buddy-buddy times always amuse me the most because it makes them fighting with each other all the more funnier.

But there is something about Cartman and Kyle together I dislike so much... I guess a part of it is due to how big it is in boy/boy land. Kyman fans take them out of control and to the extreme. If it weren't for insane Kyman fans ya, I'd probably like them getting along a bit more. But since they honestly think the two are gay for each other, any moment Cartman and Kyle are together, any nice gesture, disgusts me.
To the episode: I love how they went with cats taking over the 'net. Being a mega cat fan, I loved seeing things I have been lol-ing at for years on the 'net. Cats with bread on their faces... so ridiculous and funny!

A) So thaaat's "Faith Hilling". And yay! Looks like some PA's got roped in to Faith Hilling for the show.

B) Was this filmstrip made in 19-2007?
3. HOLY CRAP! An Escort EXP! I thought I was the only person who remembered those things.
D)

E) ...if ever there were a time that i missed the production blog, this is it.

F5; CAT BREADING?!?! Oh no! a Muser Mumble (first clip) has become a meme!
(i've run out of markers) *snnk* Butters still sitting there.
KITTY! aw, what a pretty mr. kitty, yesh you are. ^_^ CLAW HIS BALLS OFF!!! oh.

Third act now. No idea what the f*ck is going on, but it's funny. (people ambassador vs. Olong Johnson cat)
naw, poor Mr. Kitty.
I think I just laughed myself an aneurysm over the Rep/Cat debate of '0-12. Tears and everything, man.
Mr. Kitty aside, I think this is the best episode I've seen in a while. It's definately the hardest I've laughed at a SP in a while anyway.
Now back to read what everyone else has to say.

Welcome to South Park Fandom. You're bound to get weird people there. As long as you ignore those "fanfics", their friendship will seem "fresh" to you.
Speaking about fanfics, I made one myself. Check it out in the fanfic section.

Re: *1603: Faith Hilling* Post-Air Discussion
Just watched a 2nd time and pretty much nothing has changed. I love how stupid the adults can be at times. What makes them really think cats are evolving? And putting the bread on their faces themselves??

I love how they act as if things really are as out-dated as they are. How they made the film out to be super-old and you see the actors in it with iphones and in the end, copyright 2010.

I still love the people getting hit by trains. They all had plenty of time to get out of the way.

Still an 8/10 for me. Plenty of laughs. Boys being boys. Overall, little to be too upset over.
