801: Good Times With Weapons: Mistake or Blooper or Whatever

In fight mode when Stan tries to attack Butters with a fire ball, Butters says that his cloak is made of a titanium alloy that shields him from heat. Titanium is a metal, and metals conduct heat; therefore it's impossible for a titanium alloy to shield you from heat.

Titanium does conduct heat, but it has a much lower thermal conductivity than most other metals. If one were to make a heat-resistant shield and had to use a metal, titanium would be one of the best choices.

And in fact there have been several things made of titanium alloy for just that purpose, especially the heat-shields on anything that's meant to re-enter the atmosphere.
To believe in something just because you're afraid of the consequences if you don't believe in something is no reason to believe in something.

would Butters know what a titanium alloy even is? I think part of the point is the funny stuff that 8-year-olds would come up with while they were playing; it's not supposed to make any sense.
