the thing that made me laugh the most was when they realized it was supposed to be a suppository for constipation. because that meant that Ike was putting hormones up his Ass instead... lol..yeah the computer problem was interesting but overdone,it reminded me too much of the security system episode even though it was cool they made a very vague statement about the health care site, or could ALSO be a statement about how their computers went down during the black out 2 weeks ago...

1/10

The part with the Kathleen Sibelius look-alike was hilarious, otherwise, this episode wasn't very good at all. The plot thread concerning the computer system was great, but it's too mixed up. At some point, they decided that they have to have two plot threads to make a good episode. Historically, this has not been the case. The very best episodes focus in on one issue, and they were hilarious. Now, South Park is pretty much going down hill. The only episode I liked this season was the Minecraft one. I really hope they get their act together soon.

I was pretty disappointed. A lot of people thought the last two episodes were scraping the bottom of the barrel, but I'd take World War Zimmerman or Dawn of the Posers over this episode. We start out really strong but then we have three plots going on with three different, watered-down messages and they don't fit together.

Obamacare should be a separate episode from Ike's Puberty and there just was no need for another Miley Cyrus potshot.

Someone should point out that South Park predicted Miley Cyrus going all trampy way back in '08 at the end of Britney's New Look. Gotta have another good corn harvest...

Barack_Obama wrote:Also, it's a damn shame they just shove the message in of "get rid of the system and its all better", as if this analogy was factual, without the system in place, students with pre existing counseling issues couldn't see the councilor, and a bunch of issues wouldn't qualify for coverage under counselling. Nice job, M&T, once again you f*cked up, almost as bad as the global warming denial.

Especially when the health care exchanges are working well in the states that actually implemented their own under the ACA. Like California!

I don't think the InterLink part of this episode as a commentary on Obamacare is going to age well. It will be like watching Butter's Episode now and trying to remember who the fuck Gary Condit was. Especially when it turned out he had nothing to do with that young woman's unfortunate murder.

Sometimes snatching ideas from the headlines bites you in the ass. The guys got burned by that lying 'journalist' and his Acorn hatchet job, after all.

I hate when they have the kids smoke, it is such a filthy thing to see ANYONE do. I'm so against smoking or tobacco so seeing Ike with chewing tobacco was not funny. I didn't care about the Canadian health adviser's story. The whole Mylie Cyrus thing was to be expected which is unfortunate. I hate when they make a story of obvious events and things the fans expect them to do.

Okay, m'kay, now I have to show myself. The eipisode was never intended to criticize any Health Care Plan itself, but the stupid and not pratctical management with complex and unecessary softwares to be used by doctors, nurses, pharmacists and so on. I mean, when we see the idea, an integrated system for health care is a good idea. But ask them if, honestly, it is effective and makes the attendance much better. Not! It is worse! Let says that a friend of mine sent a medication prescription through the computadorized system to the nurse. Demanded one (01, O N E) hour to realize that (after saving the form, sign digitally with a password that need to be resigned on every page, and fill all the blank spaces) the link where he was sending for, was for the nurse chief. And after discovering the trully link for that case, he still demand plus 30 minutes than the physical form (and old way). So, to conclude, M&T hits the working bad way, not the political or the governmental problem. The TI is potentially dangerous on health care attendance. It is The Verdict, Franz Kafka, bureaucracy.

PS: What happened was in another country, but the health care technology is replicated in the vast majority of the countries So, the integrated system's streamline is pretty the same. I needed to have balls to said that.

I will remember. He was one district over from me, in the same area code and media market. It was a big story here in the Sacramento/Stockton/Modesto market. His son also tried to run in the same area but new district from the redistricting, but lost in the new system to the current holder of the seat and his democratic opponent, Jose Hernandez, who is an astronaut from Stockton, not Modesto. I found it odd he would try and run in Modesto, even though it is so close. But he had to because he didn't want to primary against Jerry McNerney, from my district.

If he did and won, he would have been in congress now, though. This district is fairly left leaning since the redrawing.

Worst episode ever. Only "kick the baby" and Mackey rage scene was good. IntelLink healtcare/puberty plot was out of punch line and Miley Cyrus slut shaming is pointles.

Act I: I liked the computer/Mr. Mackey interaction, m'kay? Trying to navigate to a sub menu and the window shade goes down. Or the music plays. Or the lights go off.

Act II: No clue. Missed the live show on CC; trying to watch on the SPS episode player but I only get audio during Act II and beyond. The video freezes just before the boy is about to do his cool cool trick of jumping in the air.

Sorry for my absence. Not only have I been really busy lately (I didn't even remember to check for the press release until Tuesday! A first), but I really didn't know what to say about this episode. I loved the jokes and most of it had me laughing (and scared in the first act!), but there were one too many sub-plots (the Canadian minister and his wife's 'plot' was just plain stupid). 7.5/10 and slightly disappointed, but I would say it was the best of the season if it wasn't for the fact that "Informative Murder Porn" flowed a lot better.
If you don't like the direction SP's going in, quit watching. There's nothing we could do about it, unless you're producer or higher in the authority chain. And they won't listen to fan ideas. It's not worth your time to only hate.

Obama wrote: I know it was jabbing at the ACA site, but honestly it is computer systems in general that always f*ck up like this

Whenever the NHS updates its IT system there's a major crash and problems. I thought it was about that for half of the episode, before I realized it was about the Obamacare IT failure. So it's a more general issue than it at first seems!

I will remember.

If you have to write a one paragraph explanation of why you'll remember it, you're only proving most people will not remember it!

It seems like they're just bashing the IT system because it's topical to bash it.

But they say in the episode that going back to the way things were before is the best solution. It's like they know nothing about economics or health care in America. Them and Penn Gillet should suck each other off.

We've pretty much concluded that they didn't address the ACA itself, just the Web site healthcare.gov and all the problems it had last month. Going back to the way things were before is the best solution because we wouldn't have to go through so many menus in automated appointment systems. All they've done is made the time to make appointments longer and impersonal. The system f*cking up and messing with the lights, sound, and other things? Just adds a big dose of absurdity to it all.

Someone just disturbed with the deja vu's voice from Health Minister's wife? How about... Hhhhennifer Lopez?

"That's not how a baby is born?" That's a joke I never be tired.
