Re: Season 24

Amazing, I'm so thrilled. It's still two weeks away and who knows when the next episode will be scheduled, but we finally have a day, and it's going to be a one hour special.

Re: Season 24

Is the fact they are taking a bit longer than usual to announce Season 24 a sign they're daying it? Or is it really just them trying to figure out how they'll produce the season, before they make an announcement? Just some speculation. My thoughts exactly. And it's true, as the other user said, tha...

Re: Season 24

is it possible that the new season is delayed because of the coronavirus? we know it has already happened to a lot of series, and in those cases it was to avoid gathering. that's why i asked (see above) how many people are involved in the creation of an episode. i imagine it should not be an issue f...

Re: Coronavirus COVID-19 Discussion Thread

There is no bipartisanship in this country i have to agree on this: it was made particularly clear by the Senate Majority Leader, the republican Mitch McConnell, who dismissed the request for federal funds by New York as a "blue state bailout". it was one of the most disgraceful things i've ever he...

Re: Coronavirus COVID-19 Discussion Thread

If you look at fatality rates of all countries and the US, the US is like 6% and that is not that bad when compared to other nations. I don't see how Trump handled things too wrong. Early there was not a majority wanting to shutdown the country if that is your argument. The US was already underprep...

Re: Coronavirus COVID-19 Discussion Thread

no, pal. too easy to say that everyone makes mistakes, and that the person in charge would not have made a great difference. off the top of my head, i can name several countries that did waay better than the u.s.: australia, new zealand, canada, the scandinavian countries except sweden, germany, sou...

in my continuing effort to improve my English, I've been watching the american news on youtube. and boy, is donald beyond stupid. i mean, i always knew he was a moron with a lower than average IQ, but he's said so many unbelievably stupid things these days that i cannot even fathom why people voted ...

Re: What is your favorite manga and Anime?

My favourite anime is Hokuto no Ken, known in the u.s. as Fist of the North Star. An old school anime, set in a post-apocalyptic world where the most valuable asset is the knowledge of martial arts.

Judging by the title, I suppose Santa has prostate issues, seeing as PSA is an enzyme whose production increases when the prostate isn't working properly or has swollen, so PSA's value is usually checked whenever a doctor has reasons to believe there is a problem with the patient's prostate.

Re: S23E04: "Let Them Eat Goo" postshow discussion

The subplot of cartman complaining about the cafeteria food kind of confused me: is this how it works in American schools? Only one kind of meal, no alternatives? Because that's the only way the episode makes sense, with 2 or 3 choices everyone would be happy. That said, cartman made a good point: q...

Re: S23E04: "Let Them Eat Goo" preshow discussion

Looks like Randy is now going to sell his marijuana or hemp as plant based meat to the town to boost profit. Not a bad idea but wouldn't that get everyone high? I can think of two reasons Cartman has a heart attack. The first is the marijuana did it and the second is while everyone else switched to...

Re: S23E03: "Shots!!!" postshow discussion

South Park's take on vaccines is like its takes on other issues: let the person decide what's best for himself or herself, or for his or her kids. Cartman's mom has determined to do things her way, whether or not Cartman gets his shots is up to her. The other thing is the belief that vaccines cause...

Re: S23E03: "Shots!!!" postshow discussion

But seriously; vaccination is the worst idea ever. Pisses me off so goddamn much. They never worked did you know that? They didn't even increase the decline of the disease when they were introduced and still decades later everyone is buying into it, while everyone is getting sicker and sicker. At t...
