Re: *1901: Stunning and Brave* Post-Air Discussion

Why was it so satisfying to see Cartman getting savagely beaten?

Re: *1801: Go Fund Yourself* Post-Air Discussion

In the promo released earlier in the week, the office scene with Daniel Snyder had Robert Griffin, but with the injury to Griffin, I love how they changed the aired show's scene to Kirk Cousins. Nice attention to detail :)

No one will be threatening death for the incest thing - unlike 200/201.

"The only brother-sister news team".

The first time I laughed my ass off and threw up at the same time.

Re: *1704: Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers* Pre-Air Discussi

Even before the episode airs (a week from now, apparently), I still declare this "the best SP episode ever" based on the show's title alone.

Re: *1703: World War Zimmerman* Post-Air Discussion

I thought attempts to link the movie and Zimmerman were weak. Its almost like they came up with a clever title for the episode, then tried to build a story around that title. And shooting Token was pretty severe, even for Cartman. Its funny watching Cartman be reprehensible, but even for Cartman, th...

Re: *1614 Obama Wins!* Post-Air Discussion

Probably rushed? More like definitely. I imagine they produced the episode during the week, left blanks in for who won, then just inserted Obama into the references during the night and transmitted it this morning. I mean, look at the office scene with Mitt Romney and the (infamous "You're Gett...

Re: *1612: A Nightmare on Face Time* Post-Air Discussion

I wouldn't want 10 to 12 episodes a season. 14 for me is barely enough. The summer long break really kills me too. Maybe they could make an episode every other week with a 3 month summer break. That would be 18 episodes a season. I would love that but one problem would be when they make a 2 or 3 pa...

Re: *1612: A Nightmare on Face Time* Post-Air Discussion

What direction do you think South Park should go in. I think the show has changed when you compare these last few seasons to the seasons like 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. I don't think I can explain it very good but something is different about the show. They seem to focus too much on doing an episode ...

Re: *1612: A Nightmare on Face Time* Post-Air Discussion

It's fine with me if you didn't like this episode but a few of you guys seem to be negative nancy's. The show started to go downhill a few years ago and now there seems to be no such thing as a great episode anymore. I think season 16 might be the worst season yet. I don't think this season is awfu...

Re: *1612: A Nightmare on Face Time* Post-Air Discussion

Its good to see a new SP Halloween episode. It was OK, but a bit underwhelming. The overall Blockbuster concept was a good idea and some of the bits were funny, like the iPad-Stan being treated like a person by everyone. And Cartman as the Hulk was funny. But really, another "Randy acts exagger...

Re: *1405: 200* Post-Air Discussion

A rare continuity error in South Park. Garrison was in the crowd scene meeting with the Gingers and talking to Cartman at his house about his father at the same time.

I'm not an expert in Yahtzee or anything, but I don't think you automatically win the game if you hit yahtzee.

Re: Why South Park is no longer political

Actually, I think the opposite is true. SP will die if it becomes too political. If you start going on political slants all the time, you are pissing off (and possibly losing) half your audience. The best episodes, for me anyways, have always been non-political ones about pop culture. I was watching...

Re: *1114: The List*

Saw the deleted scene they put up. I wonder if it'll be on the DVD? If you haven't seen it yet, listen for Butters; too hilarious to describe! I had commented on this in another thread, but I have to give props again to that outtake on the web site's front page. I know it must be tough what to deci...
