Re: *1210: Pandemic* Post-Air Discussion
Funny stuff. Craig really reminded everyone what South Park is all about. I'm trying not to get too excited because I'm afraid it might go back to low quality episodes, but this one was a winner. Guinea pigs are awesome, the monster was awesome, the boys getting into an adventure was a cool setting....

Re: *1209: Breast Cancer Show Ever* Post-Air Discussion
Good episode. Also, a giant bit of Fanwank, but who cares. A good delivery, nicely-paced jokes, more logic than you usually find in animated comedy. "Emo kids" was cool. I was thinking they'd spend the rest of the episode complaining that they're not emo, they're goths, but the little hint...

Re: *1208: The China Probrem* Post-Air Discussion
Wow, this thread is sure operating on a 7-70 mindset. I think that the exaggerated reaction of the boys and the DA to Indiana's rape was part of the joke. Sure, the movie was pretty bad, but who cares. It seems Trey and Stone were half criticizing the movie's quality and half mocking people for thei...

Re: *1208: The China Probrem* Post-Air Discussion
Well, this episode will do more damage to Indiana Jones' appearance than any movie would ever have done, at least in my view. But, I don't care, I'm not that big a fan of Indiana Jones anyway. I could see the "aliens" thing, though, as it was keeping up with age-appropriate pop culture ref...

Re: What exactly is South Park and how to you perceive it?
Oh, my god, it's like my dream came true! A thread where I can be as snubbish and obnoxious as I want! South Park, for me, is a show that defied all odds. Trey Parker and Matt Stone were two nobodies, worse than you and me. They made the first short all by themselves, with no drawing talent, no pros...

Re: Do you think YOU'RE the biggest fan?
No. For a while, I thought I was at least the biggest fan in my country - I had seen every episode, knew all the titles and their seasons by head, could sing the opening song - even Kenny's lines - anytime, knew what every episode dealt with. Every thursday morning I'd illegally download the episode...

Re: When do you think they may have gone too far?
It went too far in the episode where Cartman says abortion is a way of cheating nature. I think that because in my opinion, abortion is the most awesome thing that can happen, and I don't support anyone suggesting that there is any alternative to abortion when childbearing (or lack thereof) is conce...

Well, that episode jumped the homeless... Did anyone else think the head of homeless studies look a lto like Ash? When I saw him, I immediately thought "Oh, they're going to spoof Evil Dead with him!". Also, there was a scene in "Army of Darkness" where he modifies an automobile. Funny episode, but ...

Well, it's not actually an insult, but in every modern crime show like CSI, Shrak or wathever, they many times have the killer as a weirdo who's into gaming and Internet, or other modern sub-culture. When you have a dozen or so shows like that, it starts to feel like propaganda. I am actually not a ...

Why don't we just get it back? You know, start saying it so much it looses any racial meaning it could have had (I watched Clerks 2). Some people seem to believe there's a way of balancing things out. I mean, "if you belong to a number of minorities, you can insult an equal number of minorities". Th...

wish I could get ahold of Evangelion. Unfortunatly, I can't drive to town without killing fat children (and since I'm not even of age!) and YouTube is being a bitch and took down all the episodes. I only saw a few episodes on Adult Swim and that was about one or two years ago.... Is it me, or is Yo...

You know, actually, I'm not really excited about the movie... sorry. I know it sounds lame and nerdy, but I prefer Quentin Tarantino's earlier movies. It seems now he's letting over-the-top violence and cultural references get in the way of actual storytelling, wich would be o.k. in a comedy (excep...
