Most offensive

It's hard to pick one. SP doesn't even know the meaning of toned down. I'm not a big fan of the term "offensive". Offensive to who? I myself am not offended by anything they do. I am however, shocked, disturbed and possibly disgusted (in a good way) at some of their topics. Right off the bat, an obv...

Journalism

Well, it's not hard to figure out my main passion - Pop Culture. I hope to write about anything related to TV, Cinema, Music and Video Games. I am currently up for a job, as a researcher for the foreign desk of Channel 10 News. Channel 10, is the second most popular channel in this here region - Isr...

Miller - regarding The Simpsons

Miller Man, You're absolutely right that I neglected to right about The Simpsons, and wrongfully so. The Simpsons was revolutionary, in its own right. That being said, I may have gone overboard with the scope of my analysis/essay. There was alot to be said about that subject, too much. And regretful...

lil' kenny

Yep, but you're my kind of prick. I give you permission to keep hassling me about spelling and grammar. Keep me on my toes, because my aim is journalism. And, as a journalist, grammar and spelling errors can really hurt me.

Thanks,

To Miller Man

You're right, the format is more cynical than practical. I was just trying to show how both series have shaped the way TV is today. As for picking a winner between them - I picked one based on personal taste. I did say that both shows are very different indeed, in the "essay"/"analysis". I was tryin...

To Miller Man

Essay makes it sounds so clinical. Well.. anyhow.. there were some flukes, and some exceptions. As I said, Fox were always gladly willing to sacrifice any "principal" for a money making show. Still, those shows don't come close to family guy, or south park in terms of what I call Adult Entertainment...

South Park's impact on TV and Pop Culture in general

I think that we all South Park a huge debt of gratitude. Not only in terms of its amazing quality season after season. But for pushing the boundaries of what you can say and do on TV, and fighting the war on free speech, which was severely neglected before SP came on the air. South Park helped usher...

Season 10

I personally think that Season 10 was on of the best SP ever had. There was a change in direction, and it was hit and miss. But testing out new waters, and constantly reevaluating your format and topics, is what makes SP such a great show. I wrote a piece about SP, and what I think the show stands f...
