Re: *1207: Super Fun Time* Post-Air Discussion
I think this episode was solid, but not my favorite. I personally like more cultural references and melodramatic plotlines, but I do realize it's the end of the run and vacation was calling... And good point, kfgg. Maybe they WERE running out of ideas... My Season 12 faves so far: 1. Major Boobage (...

Re: *1206: Over Logging* Pre-Air Discussion
The press release says it all, this is gonna be a good one. Matt and Trey don't fail me now! Every randy-centric episode has been amazing, whether he's at odds with the ominous force of global warming or suffering from the disease of alcoholism, I can only imagine to what lengths he'll go to find li...

Re: *1206: Over Logging* Pre-Air Discussion
I just watched the preview clip, and I got a "Grapes of Wrath" vibe. Did anyone else see this? Like in "Grapes of Wrath," the Joad family packs up all their stuff and moves west to California for a better life. Could it be another parody like we just had last week? I love the wa...

Re: *1206: Over Logging* Pre-Air Discussion
Wow M&T really love Randy...sorry for complaining but I mean, there are plenty of other SP characters to work around besides the same exact ones we see in every rotation at each half of the past 3-4 seasons. It's damn near almost predictable of what character will have there screen time nowaday...

Re: *1204: Canada on Strike* Post-Air Discussion
There were some pretty funny parts, but I can't believe they would portray the WGA (Writer's Guild of America) that way. Do they not realize how much money producers make through iTunes? Don't they think writers are entitled to some of that? And don't they realize that with the new contract, that's...

Re: For the love of God and all that is holy
I hope SOMEONE (anyone!) noticed that the entire episode was an allegory for the Writer's Strike. Trey and Matt, you did it again! I should hope that was quite obvious, seeing as matt and trey just decided to call the "World Canadian Bureau" the WGA, having no logical connection but that ...

Re: *1204: Canada on Strike* Pre-Air Discussion
Wouldn't be the first time Matt & Trey have used Terrance and Phillip as allegories for themselves.
'Behind the Blow' anyone?
Really? I don't know matt and trey's life story, but I thought they always got along for the most part...that's an interesting idea though

Re: *1204: Canada on Strike* Pre-Air Discussion
My bet is that terrance and phillip represent matt and trey during the writer's strike. It's really too bad that the strike ended before season 12 began because this definately would have been the first episode to air...this is gonna be good.
