Re: Kick a Ginger Day
Yeah, I got mixed up. Apologies to the Vancouver PD. It was the RCMP that was involved in the taser incident at the Vancouver airport, wasn't it? I think I heard about that drunk driving case on the news a while back. They were talking to a retired cop about how the RCMP and police in BC are sufferi...

Re: Kick a Ginger Day
Are there people committing love crimes somewhere? Will incidents of jocks picking on nerds be tried at the Hague in the future? That's a bit of a separate discussion but obviously ties into this nonsense. It's also pretty rich that the Vancouver PD is lecturing about inciting hate when they tasered...

Re: Kick a Ginger Day
Well, South Park and Facebook have been positioned as scapegoats which is hardly new in either case, although SP has more experience being in people's crosshairs. Re: The F-Word Uncensored on Canadian TV?
Just watched the High School Musical episode last night and Stan drops the F-word uncensored. Up here, the Comedy Network was making a big deal of offering South Park uncensored but I think it's only for certain time slots. I was watching it at 1:00am in my time zone which is usually a repeat of the...

In the News - Gingers, Hate Crimes, and Scapegoats
It seems that the feces is hitting the rotating appliance in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/calgary/story/2008/11/21/calgary-kick-ginger-attack.html#articlecomments South Park and Facebook have been positioned as scapegoats which is hardly new in either case, although SP has more...
