Re: '80's Music

New Order, Stone Roses and The Smiths (Madchester) were all brilliant. And don't forget Faith No More (The Real Thing), the only truly brilliant metal band ever.

Re: Best Punk Band? NO POP PUNK!!!

I used to love punk when I was about 15. Can't stand any of it anymore for so many reasons. It is full of posers, every single one of them except The Clash.

Re: Religion. Keep on topic, argue through PMs.

Was it religion that caused chaos or the egomaniacs who use it? There are plenty of non-religious dickheads throughout history who have caused just as much havoc. Some people use religion to justify their reasons or whatever but really, anyone who can kill anyone because of a book is just f*cked in ...

Re: '80's Music

Closer by Joy Divison came out in 1980, that's one messed up album. It's like listening to someone kill themselves. But good. It's up there with The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers as most f*cked up album (in a good way) of all time.

Re: Religion. Keep on topic, argue through PMs.

Whilst I don't believe in god, I understand that the world would probably be a much more f*cked up place without religion. Religion acted as part of the government in olden times and without it there may have been chaos. Plus, religion is basically all about morality and everyone has morals... right?

Remember when Kyle almost died in Cartmanland? If that nearly killed him imagine him at 14 or whatever? Plus, I imagine he'd get picked on alot.

Re: Who here likes Towelie?

In the episode after Towlie when he walks up and says "Don't forget to bring a towel" and Cartman goes "Oh no, not Towlie!" That's one of the funniest bits ever, even though it's actually not funny at all.

Re: What do you think was the worst episode?

Can't remember many of the early episodes so my knowledge starts around season 5 but I'd say:

Here Comes The Neighbourhood, Fat Butt And Pancake Head
And Stupid Video Whore Playset.

Re: South Park on a slippery slope

To be honest, South Park has never had a truly perfect season. It has gotten close (5-10 are all consistently brilliant) but there are always going to be episodes that are not up to scratch. Personally, despite what everyone says, I thought Major Boobage was pretty poor, especially considering the h...

Re: Whats your Favourite band?

I'll say Blur because they're one of the most misunderstood bands of all time. They remind me of South Park because their detractors have a habit of only observing their face value, ie. South Park is just swearing, Blur are just cockney dickheads - when in reality they go far deeper than that. Also,...
