Re: *1710: The Hobbit* Post-Air Discussion

The whole point of them showing the girls in the gym NOT working out is that working out does NOT get you those looks. If you work out it doesn't magically brush away your imperfections. Yes, of course, working out is attractive and more desirable! But it won't get a girl magazine looks or even clo...

Re: *1710: The Hobbit* Post-Air Discussion

The point is hardly any women can look anything like the women in magazines (no fat, slimmer necks, higher cheekbones, pupils and eyes made larger, back slimmed in, freckles erased, etc- and of course, they lightened Nichole) even if they worked out until they dropped dead. If you work out, chances...

Re: *1710: The Hobbit* Post-Air Discussion

By the way, the sign of a great episode is it gets a dialogue happening on the internet. People are discussing this topic in great depth. My two cents: if you're ugly, so what? Make sure you're strong in other areas (eg book smarts/engineering/plumbing/athletics/dancing/rapping/Insert Skill or Profe...

Re: *1710: The Hobbit* Post-Air Discussion

To be honest, what you just said proved everything I said right. When I said in society, women are only valued for their appearances, I didn't just mean that guys only want to f*ck pretty girls. I meant that everywhere in society, including the job market, too much emphasis is placed on how women l...

Re: *1710: The Hobbit* Post-Air Discussion

Very sad ending, but it is necessary social commentary. Standards people put on others regarding their appearances is rediculous. Especially when it comes to how women are mostly only valued for their appearances. What does this mean? Women are only valued for their appearances? Are you saying guys...

Re: *1708: A Song of Ass and Fire* Post-Air Discussion

Four posts in eight years? Maybe that's why you're not familiar with the internet. Stereotype much? I can play that game too. 5K+ posts in almost 9 years= No life? Posts while show is still airing= No life? Why only 4 posts? I usually live by the motto: "Don't feed the troll" annnnnd........

Re: *1708: A Song of Ass and Fire* Post-Air Discussion

The news reporter in the bedroom was so f*cking funny.

Isn't the new episode supposed to be out now?

It would help if I knew about Game of Thrones so I could get half the jokes.

Re: *1707: Black Friday* Post-Air Discussion

Can someone explain to me how this episode is good? It seemed to do the same old "treat something trivial as if it's the most serious/dramatic thing in the world" joke with the Black Friday staff. Then the boys play-fighting...we've already had this. They keep doing the "adult interru...

Re: *1703: World War Zimmerman* Post-Air Discussion

Its almost like they came up with a clever title for the episode, then tried to build a story around that title. And shooting Token was pretty severe, even for Cartman. Its funny watching Cartman be reprehensible, but even for Cartman, there's a line that can be crossed where its just not funny. . ...

Re: *1703: World War Zimmerman* Post-Air Discussion

Comments criticizing the show are fine. What I can't stand, however, are comments like "I'm never going to watch this show again!" or "They disappointed me/let me down" or "if the next episode is as bad as this, I'll be pissed off!" There's such a disgusting air of self...

Re: *1703: World War Zimmerman* Post-Air Discussion

I never cared or knew anything about the Zimmerman trial, so a lot of jokes/references in this episode I didn't get.

Oh well. There's always the next show. I wonder how these guys are going to deal with the stress of having to write 10 shows straight.

Re: *1701: Let Go, Let Gov* Post-Air Discussion

What the f*ck happened to South Park? They should be railing against the NSA. Instead they kind of took an "oh well, you don't have to worry if you don't do anything wrong" but what they miss is that it's not about what you're doing today but about what you might need to do tomorrow. If y...
