Re: *1607: Cartman Finds Love* Post-Air Discussion

The insult was conditional. I was only calling you an idiot IF you thought there was no irony in the episode. It turns out you didn't. You're clearly NOT an idiot, judging from your reply to me. That's a big difference indeed. Your attack on the GoT reference is unfounded IMO, since it was just a t...

Re: *1607: Cartman Finds Love* Post-Air Discussion

Seriously. That was, in my opinion, the worst episode ever. Period. It felt more like '7th Heaven' than South Park. It didn't seem as if they were even trying to be funny. I'm not sure if I will watch the second half of this season at all, if it's going in that direction. An f*ing preachy soap oper...

Re: *1606: I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining* Post-Air Disc

So far, that was the first episode this season that I actually liked. I think the "re-enactment" was a nice twist, and, what is more important, it was completly Not-giving-a-f*** . Not like the preachy or over-complicated episodes they use to do so often nowadays, this was just random sill...

Re: *1604: Jewpacabra* Post-Air Discussion

I thought this season would be a return to form since they aren't dealing with a major play this time around. This season has a been a huge let-down, and this episode was awful. Not a single laugh or otherwise redeeming value. Spam. Filler. Crap. I doubt I'll keep going out of my way to watch new e...

Re: *1507: You're Getting Old* Post-Air Discussion

“South Park is way bigger than either of us,” he says. “And it’s this curse, and when we are doing it, I hate it. I’m pissed off and I’m tired, and every single Tuesday I say, ‘This is the worst show we’ve ever done!’ It’s brutal. But it’s something I am a part of that’s bigger than I am. That’s wha...

Re: *1507: You're Getting Old* Post-Air Discussion

Well, that scene with Stans parents was really...yeah. To me, it is definitely M&T directly speaking to the Fans. I had the feeling that they trie to explain it little by little to the fans, that they are loosing their SP spirit - and after 15 years, who could blame them? I don't think, Stan's p...

Re: *1414: Crème Fraiche* Post-Air Discussion

I really, really wish I could find something nice to say about this episode, but I just can't. Once again, we get a parody of a TV network, a Corona ad, a Progressive ad and an infomercial. South Park has just become TV Parody of the Week. Once again, Trey and Matt stretch two jokes over an entire ...

Re: *1413: Coon vs. Coon & Friends* Post-Air Discussion

Could have been better, could have been worse. I'm really glad that the cube wasn't talking to Kenny in the end of the episode, though. Until they revealed it was Bradley the guy was talking to I just kept thinking "Oh my god, Kenny is an alien. What the f*ck. Now this is f*cking retarded.&quo...

Re: *1413: Coon vs. Coon & Friends* Post-Air Discussion

Actually come to think of it, I am a little disappointed that they didn't include Al Gore and his alter ego 'Exthelthior!' (if that is his alter ego or his catchphrase?) You know, when they first announced Coon 2: Hindsight , and they revealed that the episode would deal with the oil spill and a su...

Re: *1413: Coon vs. Coon & Friends* Post-Air Discussion

I see what you mean. I think I must specify what I wanted to express. It seemed to me like sort of a "stretched out" deus-ex-machina, if anone has an idea, what I mean by that You know, not so much within the context of the Coon story, but more the thing as a whole - when did Bradley ever...

Re: *1413: Coon vs. Coon & Friends* Post-Air Discussion

That's cool. People have different opinions, and unlike The Coon, who thinks the only right opinion is his (he was destroying the planet yet The Coon thought he was on the side of good, not evil), I don't think it's a deus-ex-machina as that means that the problem was solved by an unexpected charac...

Re: *1413: Coon vs. Coon & Friends* Post-Air Discussion

For me, this episode was disappointing. As some others here said before, it seemed rushed. And Bradley "snatching" the hero role from Kenny (whom we were expecting to save the world after the last two eps) seemed like a deus-ex-machina. Idk, but it felt like if MnT were reading this forum ...

I can't wait for the next ep!I wonder if they will mkae it a five-parter? That will make it the longest South Park multiple episode...thingy. lol I got a feeling Butters is gonna be involved in the next episode somehow. If yourember all the way back in March 2010, there was a promo for the new seas...
