Re: *1507: You're Getting Old* Post-Air Discussion

How touching, especially growing up with south park. I was in 6th/7th grade when south park first aired. It's fun to reflect on "the seasons of my life" since that point. To those who seem to think this is a precursor to the end... why does sentimental reflection have to be associated with...

Re: *1506: City Sushi* Post-Air Discussion

Intricate doesn't make it effective comedy. That depends on who you are and what your tastes are. I like the fact that they lampoon people who entertain stereotypes as reality. More especially because as a cartoon you kind of end up doing that anyway. And south park is notorious for it. Stereotypes...

Re: *1506: City Sushi* Pre-Air Discussion

I think it will be funny. The ritalin/ timmy and the lords of the underworld episode, of course, comes directly to mind. My mind is running wild with possible plot lines with butters, psychotropic medications, and his parents. Really excited to see how City Sushi becomes invovled, and how the kids &...

Re: *1504: T.M.I.* Post-Air Thread

I thought it was a creative idea. Something about their execution has changed though. I think if they would have done this idea years ago, I may have liked it more. It seems like they've streamlined the jokes and punches to an optimal pace/kick, and I don't like it as much though. In general it was ...

Re: Theme Song?

Yeah, I know who Les Claypool is. And that is kinda interesting to hear. I mean, for a TV series that came out in the Late 90's Primus was a key sound bite for that time. I guess because it is almost a decade and a half later, they had to make it not sound so...90's. I mean, if Dawson's Creek was st...

Theme Song?

Okay, this is probably going to seem really silly to most, but is the Primus theme song still used? I haven't had cable in years, and the last few seasons I've just watched online...

Re: 50 50 episode

So, you think that whoever wrote The Human Centepede needs capital punishment? Does that mean you are against freedom of speech?..The Human Centepede may not be my favorite horror film, and I don't know the name of the director, but whoever it was, he has every right to make the kind of movies he w...

Re: *1501: HUMANCENTiPAD* Post-Air Discussion

And I think that when eric is just talking, not yelling or cursing, he doesn't even SOUND fat anymore. kinda close to stan's voice. And since when did eric's mom become a disaplinarian? I mean, the reason he's so spoiled/such a turd is because she spoiled him and didn't parent him well, because she ...

Re: Coon and Friends SUCKED!

I think it was somewhat clever that they made kenny's dying a superpower, but I didn't really like how they made him die and come back in the same episode. It would have been easy to ajust each episode to allow him to come back in the breaks between episodes, then it would have been more cohesive wi...

Yeah, I wonder how they are gonna do the actual tally... I would imagine some score attached to each time it is voted at a position?

Yeah, they changed the venue to arkansas, then they say Oklahoma City, then they show an illustration of little rock (at least it's in arkansas.)

Re: The Official Cartman Discussion Thread

if I remember correctly, they have now changed the voices of the old seasons. Possibly. My season one box set is at least 7 years old, and they didn't change 'em on there as of that point. And as to the Matt and Trey are older...yeah all of the voices are slightly different from their origins, mayb...
