Re: Why are Matt and Trey such republican dicks?

You know, having watched the show since it started 16 years ago I have seen just about every position mocked relentlessly. Regardless of Matt and Trey's own beliefs they mock absurdities when they see it and don't hold back. Hell, by season 2 they called out Atlas Shrugged, which is damn near a holy...

Re: *1609: Raising the Bar* Post-Air Discussion

I actually didn't mind the James Cameron B story as Brendle stated in that the message tied in well. I do wish it had a touch more direct connection with the main events, but it didn't feel like it was completely out of place. Not to mention just how absurd it has become that, yes his movies can be ...

Re: Kenny should be a regular character for the last few sea

The Poor Kid was actually a pretty decent Kenny focused episode and was the season closer for last season.

However it is true that this season hasn't had Kenny be much more than a prop. It's been really heavy on Cartman and other than the occasional one line Kenny hasn't done anything.

......... So Honey Boo Boo tops cable ratings in what supposedly is a glorification of ignorance and obesity. 50 Shades of Gray has shallow, neglected and horny housewives thinking they are cultured and Michael Bay cannot help but make money on every turd that comes out of his ass. This is the culmi...

Re: *1609: Raising the Bar* Pre-Air Discussion

Wow. but that looks about spot-on. Sir, you just made me, as someone who won't touch that tripe with a twenty foot pole, give up on the human race. Is this going to be one of the cases like the Scientology rip where they don't have to actually make fun of it as the joke is that this sh!t exists? Oh...

Re: Things that make you happy

there is nothing like hiking in the Rockies. Oh, yes! Well, not Rockies, obviously. And not just hiking, and not necessarily in the mountains. Any activity in nature makes me happy. Especially off road cycling. I suppose I can rephrase it to living right next to the Rockies and being able to have s...

The thing is a color filter would affect the entire layer rather than just the hair. The rest of the picture appears normal in hue.

Re: broflovskis

Not a lot of attention paid to details in the early seasons. Also there are a couple cases where the name was intentionally mutilated. Most names out of the Slavic language family (most Eastern European Jews have names that are of Slavic or Germanic origin) are fodder for screwing around with. Just ...

Re: Things that make you happy

A good book will always put me in a good mood. Same with hearing a good story. As tired and sore as I often will be after doing it, there is nothing like hiking in the Rockies. Some people go to church, I go up to 13,000 feet for my spiritual needs. Random acts of kindness, both receiving and giving...

Re: Does the episode "Stanley's Cup" seem unfinished?

Heck, Cash For Gold is another one that feels like they just couldn't tie everything up in time. We never get to see Cartman's business endeavor implode on itself or some other event to put an end to his latest scheme, which kinda rendered the entire B story of that episode a bit pointless.

Re: *1608: Sarcastaball* Post-Air Discussion

Well, if we want to discuss OOC moments... consider the fact that Randy Marsh was playing the sane man for an episode. Sure he still goes to ridiculous lengths in typical Randy fashion, but he was the voice of reason in an odd way and that seems a bit disturbing.

He's been run over before. Why do it again? Besides, didn't Kenny die like 2 episodes ago?

Re: Does the episode "Stanley's Cup" seem unfinished?

It's not that odd. There's a number of episodes that you can tell ended up like Stanley's Cup or they just ran out of time in making it and thus things seem a little abrupt as something isn't resolved or otherwise feels unpolished.

The pros and cons of fly by the seat of your pants creativity.

Re: Anyone else ever visited a series location?

Hah! Yeah, I go to school in Greeley, didn't even think about that one. Oh yeah, that city in the north of the state that is not Ft. Collins or Boulder. I forget that civilization exists up there at times. It's goofy because it's not that small at all but feels so damn rural. And I've actually gott...
