I feel like an utterly talentless douche-chewing dickhead who's made one awful, delusional decision after another throughout his entire life.

Re: The line... they found it!

Someone might compare it to the Scientology episode, but that episode only dealt with what that religion actually teaches. "Bloody Mary," by contrast, takes a beloved figure, as well as an image that evokes great reverence from Catholics, and desecrates it by showing it... well, I don't want to be ...

1) Why the hell should post count affect anyone's ability to whine? If someone didn't like an episode, I respect their opinion whether it's their first post or their 1000th post. 2) Why, whenever people moan about an episode, do people resort to the basic 'watch something else' argument? How about ...

and for English class: The Old Man and the Sea. I don't know if you've discussed this in class yet, but if you want to sound smart, tell your teacher that you see a parallel between 1) the old man's brutal struggle to land the fish and its subsequent devouring by remorseless sharks and 2) a writer'...

I'm reading two books right now. The God of the Machine, by Isabel Paterson -- a political science/economics/philosophy treatise about individualism and how it relates to the proper function of "long-circuit energy system" societies. Thomas Jefferson: Author of America, by Christopher Hitchens -- a ...

President Josiah Bartlet: Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Do you know why? Will Bailey: Because it's the only thing that ever has. Actually, that's a quote by Margeret Mead. I have it on a poster, and recognized it when I saw it on WW. Yes, I'm ...

Only problem is that I have no idea what the point of the episode is. It seemed flat or something. If someone could explain, that would be great. I doubt this was the conscious theme of the episode, but it reminded me of a great bit of insightful dialogue from The West Wing. President Josiah Bartle...

If I could have added one joke to this episode, I would have made the MASA rocket be attached to a big stick sticking out of the ground or a massive bottle.

Living in a highly Mexican part of LA has taught me one thing: Mexicans LOVE bottle rockets (almost as much as Germans love David Hasselhoff).

Bravo. Definitely a winged episode, but that's what they do best, apparently. And why do I get the impression Matt engineered that ending shot? The cold, unforgiving, silent universe bringing the whole fantastic story back to reality. Perfect. And honestly, whoever drew that composite sketch, you ar...
