It was okay. I laughed a little.

Finally got around to watching this episode. I freaking loved it. 10/10.

Same reason they were twenty-somethings and Kenny was all dark haired, tan, and unmuffled. Because it was a reenactment.
That was, y'know, the joke.

And it went right over my head! DERP!

Re: Season 16 so far has been.....

Good or bad, this season has been nothing short of weird. At this point, I'm convinced Matt and Trey are on some hard drugs recently. This latest episode seals it.

LIVE ACTION SOUTH PARK WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN!

The episode was entertaining though. Still... why were they live action on the boat?

Eat, Pray, Queef as well (though the adults were also there).

Though the boys weren't involved, Randy went before Congress in With Apologies to Jesse Jackson.

Re: The Simpsons' Matt Groening Reveals...

The hints that the show drops to indicate where Springfield is located contradict one another a lot of times. It may be based on Springfield, Oregon, but I wouldn't say that Oregon is the official hometown of the Simpsons. For one thing, Oregon is not bordered by Ohio, Nevada, Maine, and Kentucky (t...

Re: *1605: Butterballs* Post-Air Discussion

What the hell did I just watch?

But yeah, it was pretty funny at the start. The music video was great, especially Cartman in drag. The ending, however... ehhhhhh... once again, I'm just weirded out. That seems to be a common occurrence with South Park lately.

Re: "Normal" looking Canadians?

Marvin himself didn't have a floppy head, but at one point (I think towards the end when they're delivering the dead turkeys to Ethiopia), there's a crowd shot of Ethiopians and one of them is an African Ike.

Re: "Normal" looking Canadians?

Inversely, what about non-Canadians who possess Canadian traits? For example, at one point in Starvin' Marvin, we see what is essentially an Ethiopian Ike. Of course, this was before Ike's design was established to be the Canadian look. Nevertheless, I wonder if this kid could have some Canadian blo...

Re: *1604: Jewpacabra* Post-Air Discussion

One thing that makes South Park stand out from other shows of its genre is its boldness to change the status quo, whether it's killing off Kenny for a season or moving the kids to 4th grade, then killing their 4th grade teacher and bringing back their 3rd grade teacher who is now openly gay until he...

Re: *1604: Jewpacabra* Post-Air Discussion

Regarding the potential permanence of Cartman's Passover conversion, I would expect at the very least a multiple episode arc about Cartman's faith. I would not expect the universe to be reset next week. They wouldn't have gone out on such a juicy plot development if that was the case. And as others...

Re: *1604: Jewpacabra* Post-Air Discussion

Well, considering the recurring theme of "lying or stupid" throughout this episode, I was expecting Kyle to respond to Cartman's claim that he's not lying by saying, "I know. You're stupid." I'm surprised he didn't.

Re: *1604: Jewpacabra* Post-Air Discussion

Fantastic Easter Special was indeed better than this episode, but I still liked it. It might even be my favorite episode of the season thusfar. I couldn't understand why Kyle was willing to save Cartman since he's encouraged Cartman to jump to his death in the past, but I guess he's the sort of pers...
