Go to August 19th. Read the interview. Last line is depressing in it's delivery.

That's how it's down here on the farm!
Is there an end in sight for South Park?
Trey: Jesus Christ, I hope so.
That was pretty funny, although they're probably telling the truth.. great interview there.

Trey´s answer during the convention "The amazing Meeting 5" last week in Las Vegas seems to be a little bit different from the answer in cracked magazine.
In the article it says:
...And don't expect the 10-year-old show to end anytime soon.
"As long as people are stupid, we'll still be able to have a show," Parker says. "So that'll be at least three or four years."

Whats your definition of a cult
Ok, poor choice of words on my part (well, nobody’s perfect)

What I was getting at is that the world is not going to come to a horrible, painful, and probably exploding end should the series come to it's final run. I used the term "cult" mainly because of how some people (not really speaking of anybody in particular) tend to treat the show as if the episodes were pages in the holey bible, and how they seem to think that the end of the series is equivalent to the end of days.
Yeah, it would suck if the series did end, but at the same time, it's better to go out with a bang than it is to let it run too long and deteriorate into something dull, predictable, and most of all, not funny or expansive to the SP universe.
