hopefully chelsea will drop dead and Man U will be knocked out

Italy pose little threat as many teams have been banned if u dont know why just get lost

im a gooner and against my father's wishes i went old trafford and it was so good, i saw last champions league game at highbury and last game there too it was class

i went to 1st premiership game at ashburton grove/emirates

Man U fans are the biggest wankers on the planet...they favour club pride over national pride and would always prefer Rooney getting inhuryed for world cup rather than missing one game V Sunderland

i expect either Baracolana )SP? bah) or hopefully arsenal

we got best set up for knockout's now as teams can't just put 11 men behind the ball

i can't stand people who say that rooney is better than any other striker

have you seen how many goals he has scored in the chapions league....

3

and all 3 were on his debut against a bog standard team for Turkey...TURKEY

Rooney has yet to prove his £26 million in either domestic/european games overall i think fergie was ripped off

apart from his debut for England which i think is euro 2004 (correct me if im wrong) he hasn't done that much

Il stick by you on this one .......Wayne Rooney to Me is like Tore Andre Flo at Rangers....Useless......I mean if he is this "Wonder Striker" or the best thing since bread how come he didnt bang a few against Celtic......

Now someone else will come on and say he will be saving goals for Benfica cause they put them out last season or something stupid like that......

So what do you think will be the next game to watch.....

Personally for me it will be Celtic Vs FC Copenhagan

Revenge at Emirates Statdium

Postby GunnersFan27 » Thu Oct 19, 2006 8:30 am

salutations from a die hard gunners fan living in arizona, USA. born and raised on this side of the pond, too -- if you can believe it. anyway, i fully expect the arsenal to come out with a clear and focused determination when we face CSKA at emirates stadium. unfortunately, i am unable to see most of the champions league matches because i do not have a dish. i agree that rooney is over-hyped in the media. he has his moments, but for the amount he is making in salary, the results are disproportional to the investment. have manchester united won an EPL title since his promotion to the first squad? i have never posted on this site before, so i must say that it is wonderful to see people talking about the world's greatest sport. does anyone think it is possible for matt and trey to make an episode centered on football? anxious to hear any comments. also, does anyone think spraying the opposition in the face with 'bear mace' warrants a sending off?

Forza Gunners!

From what i know...and by this i mean is arrogent views of sterotypes

american REAL football or soccer is played like a woman's sport over there like normal hockey with no ice nor skates

USA play like bambi on ice during World cup

there is nothing more enduring and antisipating than a european/ world cup football match

i know it may seem boring as there are at most 3-4 goals in a match but it increases their value and can change like *that*

i have never seen some a boring sport as ALL AMERICAN FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTBALL!!!!!

i agree that american football is boring. this is why i make no reference to NFL nor MLS. i understand that the limited scoring in the european leagues and world cup adds to the drama of the event...as feminine as all us american footballers are, we can still admire the game. this is not to mention the fact that it is precisely why i love it. the drama of a good football match is a drama rarely reproduced, or even poorly imitated, in lesser sports. i simply say that the arsenal will revenge their defeat in Moscow during the next round of the group stages...on their way to what should have been theirs last time around, the Champions League title. good posting, gents.

Well we now have GunnersFan27 thinking that Arsenal may win.....I honestly wouldnt be surprised Arsenal came so close last year. But thanks to a former Celtic Player in Henrik Larsson Barca managed to win......

if i cant see the game i go to ESPN's Soccernet as it gives you live updates on nall games all over the world..

And i think spraying the opposition with bear mace would warrent a sending off....

also, while on the topic of american football...let us not forget that the USA was the only squad besides France to score a goal on the world champions during the last Tournament; a feat not even the German squad could accomplish in the semi-finals on home soil. we are not on par with europe yet, but give us time. americans own manchester united and aston villa. this means the players from those squads will soon be on loan to american squads owned by the same interests. $ rules the world and we tend to have a bit of it on this side of the pond. the players will come, bringing with it a higher quality of play. quality play = loyal fan-base. what logically follows from there, i leave open to discussion.

im sorry but there is nothing to entice a single player from Europe domestically

There is no REAL official football leagues over there and here everything is fine tuned

Also mainstream Europe live for Football whilst USA Mainstream goes into ALL AMERICAN FOOOOOOOOOOTBALL BAseball and basketball...hell even golf has piority over football

Also football (especially premiership, compared to rest of europe...i have no idea about scottish) is highly profitable that is what brought Big investors from Russia and USA (However Abramovich uses Chelsea like a toy)

The only use i have seen USA is a pre season tour for alot of Main Europe teams

I highly doubt American teams can even compete against Mainstream European teams without oh yeah European managers and African/European/South American players
