Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Postby plk12345 » Sat May 26, 2007 2:50 am

just got back from the theater. What the f*ck?

what a disappointment

I probably need to see it again to appreciate it

ok, what's up with giant calypso? Why did they betray eachother? Who betrayed who?

ok, let me get this straight. Davy jones falls in love with goddess, goddess betrays him, davy jones cuts out his heart, puts it in a box, and kills people. whoever stabs the heart becomes the new captain. Everyone has their own motives, and they tangle somehow?

ok, i know im just typing a giant bullsh*t rant. I have to see the movie again.

opinions please

Too long, and it sucks. There's no following the plot in any reasonable manner. The worst of the trilogy.

keep telling yourself that, myself in the past

the plot was either way too complex, or it just wasn't planned out well. Why did turner need the pearl to save his old man? what were Captain Barbossa and sarcastic assh*le with a wig's motive.?

will there be a fourth?

hopefully they will make one, that movie did not end the series in a good way

that cleared a lot up. The story was just not as good as the first two, the second being the best

Well, I didn't think the plot was that bad..I liked it better than the second in the series. My only real problem was that the betrayals were a little repetive, but it was still entertaining, and I had fun. But, hey if plk and Big Will didn't like it, no skin off my ass.

I saw it, and I didn't think it sucked. I didn't think it was the greatest movie in the history of forever either, but I was entertained. It did seem to have a couple of false endings though. And I wasn't too thrilled with the final ending, but the bit at the end of the credits almost made up for it.

Of course not. You are not involved in any way with the making of this movie. If you were Bruckheimer or Disney, you might have reason to worry.
