God helped Hillary get past the woes

Postby angeldeb82 » Tue Jun 05, 2007 3:32 am

Former President Bill Clinton's wife Hillary (parodied as Hilldog in the South Park episode "The Snuke") said almost yesterday that her faith in God got her past marital woes and helped her stand by her husband in the aftermath of the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Here's the link: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070605/ap_on_el_pr/democrats_religion

And to think that the Republicans (and Hilldog fans! :!: )had something to believe... :P 8)
Still the same as it ever was.

Well, the way I see it, Hilary's religious beliefs and her marriage are her own business. What I care more about is what she would do about the war in Iraq, about the economy and the enviroment.

Almost all politicians are going to do that, whether they're Democrats or Republicans. They'll say, "I'm a Christian!" in the same way that they say, "I have integrity!" In the end, what they claim to be or how much they talk about their faith makes no difference. It's where they stand on the issues and what they do about them that matters.

Of course, we're probably still quite a long way away from having a Muslim, a Jew, a Buddhist, a Hindu, a Pagan, or an atheist as president.

nah, we will probably have a jew in the near future, and probably have already had several atheists who just claim faith for political gain.

yea sure, clinton is a christian, that is why all her views contradict any sort of christian values, right?

Yeah, I know all politicians do that. I just think people need to start seeing through it, and not be so influeneced by religion when it comes to politics. I mean, everyone should know by now it is really easy to use religion to manipulate people into voting for certain people or getting certain political agendas to happen.

People can attribute anything they'd like to God.

Why just last week I was f*ckin' constipated, but thanks to my faith in Jesus Christ, I was able to push out that subborn turd.
