Transformers the Moive

Postby Craig-and-Clyde » Mon Jun 18, 2007 4:05 pm

Are people planning on seeing Transformers even though it is a Michael Bay movie?

I'm looking forwards to it. Should be pretty good. Hopefully.

Are you kidding? Hell yes! Transformers is right in my wheelhouse! Hell, I even had a Optimus Prime AM radio as a kid. I wish I still had it too.

Apparently, the guy who originally voiced Optimus Prime is doing the voice of that character in the movie.

Since it's a Michael Bay movie, that means it'll have awesome special effects, an easy to follow generic plot, sh*tty dialogue, kick-ass music and lots of unrealistic, gratuitous explosions.

Additionally, it opens on the 4th of July. I'm thinking "Independance Day" with that date. Which means everyone will love it... if they're 12. I'll probably just download Transformers sometime after it comes out.

Well, I'm not paying full price of course. I'll do a $4.75 Early Bird show, or wait for it to come to the dollar-theater.

I've never watched the television series. And this movie doesn't sound that interesting. So, I really don't care.

I can't help but wonder what it would be like if vehicles could actually do that. The Hummers would be all tough, the Ferrari's all suave, the model T's would be just plain difficult, and the Jaguars would probably be pretty easy.

And hybrid's would be smart-A's too. :D

Yeah but the Mini's would do nothing but try and colonize India

No joke!

The ultra-compacts would sure have their fun in Europe as well.

Can you imagine the fight that'd ensue between a Ford Ka and a Renault Twingo?

Ten dollars can be spent on much better things than a transformers movie, granted I want to see it, I'll just wait for it to come out on dvd and the family will rent it. But I won't spend ten bucks on that movie and the ten bucks on munchies.
