Best rated film I've watched; One Flew Over The Cucoos nest.

What about Last Tango in Paris. Thats the best softcore porn rated X movie there is.

Saw the first few minutes of the original X-rated "Fritz the Cat" years ago. Just didn't do a thing for me back then.

When I drove home from Florida I saw my first abstinence billboard and I was rather surprised.

LOL, you were surprised?

Even in South Carolina, every other billboard is abstinence, anti-drug, or Christian. Any thing below that would be hell for me.

I'm sorry, but if you thought that Clockwork Orange was just about violence, you're thick.

I downloaed the squeal to the first one. The Nine Lives Of Fritz the Cat(1974) should have been rated X in 1974 not rated R. When there was a sex scene you can see all the "action" with the cartoon characters. And the profanity was pretty harsh by 1970S standards.

Funny story. I was heading over to a friend's house and when I knocked on his door (which was open) I could here him saying "Dude, sh*t, turn it off!" from his parent's room. I walk in and him and one of his other friends were freaking out because they thought I was his dad.

When they pressed play again I decided that knocking first before entering a room should be practiced by all (I think the film was called Bobbysox or something, it grossed me out to the point where I was gulping involuntarily).

No need to appologise for figuring out how "thick" I was when I watched A Clockwork Orange. I was about ten at the time though, so maybee I need to go back and watch it again.
I remember a lot of pretend hyper pretentious philosophy in there while most of the violence was happening.
Don't try telling me you think Battle Royale was about anything other than mutilating and dismembering schoolgirls in loose clothes (if you can call a 'torn' blouse clothes) or I'll have to watch that one again as well.

Now I'm REALLY curious. Just what kind of sick depraved thing were they showing? Don't be skimpy with the details!

A clockwork orange was about 4 guys fuking ladies and beating some guys up. On wikipedia its calls it a Politcal "Orwellian" film based a dystopian future.

Not surpised, it just isnt something you ever see up here in this hippy country we call Massachusetts
I don't think i'm very happy. I always fall asleep to the sound of my own screams. And then I always get woken up in the morning by the sound of my own screams. Do you think i'm unhappy?

I have had "Battle Royal" on my computer for a couple of days now, and I still didn't get around to watching it.

Someone tell me, is it worth setting on a chair and reading the sub-titles that long? I just don't want to waste my time.

battle royale is CERTAINLY more than senseless violence.

on one level, the director was trying to show just how senseless people in this world can be, not thinking things through and being so willing to kill to get to the top. this theme is represented VERY clearly in the scene where the two girls get the loudspeaker and try to unite all the students on the island by speaking from the top of a mountain. while some kids listen and understand, kazuo enters the scene and kills the both of them. when the one girl gasps for help, he fills her with even more bullets. the lengths people are willing to go to to get to the top (the mountain being "the top")

the other main thing he was trying to show was the sheer emotion that these kids convey when put in such a ridiculous and awful situation. the tagline to the movie was something like "could you kill your best friend?". obviously, this isn't exactly a theme, but it's still an idea they were trying to show. you probably should watch the film again if you though it was just senseless violence, but i guess if you thought a clockwork orange was just senseless violence you probably should just try and work on simple comprehension first.

I've watched porn, both straight and gay. It's boring.
OK, old porn from the '60's is funny.

I've seen several NC-17 films. Most films that get that rating are pretentious art films. Some I've seen:

Bad Education-it's a really great film. All of Pedro Almodovar's films are great.

Tie Me Up ie Me Down-Another Almodivar film.

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls-the first 20 minutes are the funniest film I've ever seen.

The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover

Dirty Shame,
Pink Flamingos,
Female Trouble,
Desperate Living
-All John Waters films. There's a probably a few more of his that are also NC-17, and I've seen them all.

Happiness

Poison-I like this film a lot.

Unrated films I've seen:
Team America: World Police

E Tu Mama Tambien
