The Official Halloween Thread

Postby M00ndragon69 » Tue Oct 30, 2007 4:08 am

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy Halloween since I will probably be busy the next two nights..What is everyone doing for Halloween? And have you carved any pumpkins..I just spent the last couple hours carving my jackolanterns and I think they came out good..I can't wait til my roommates see.

Happy (one-day-early) Halloween, everyone! I'll be busy raiding the neighborhood with my brother, his friend, and my boyfriend Wednesday night...then I'll be home to watch Imaginationland Part 3...and then I'll probably be here on the BBS to chat about the night and the new episode.

I'll post pictures of my boyfriend and I in costume probably on Thursday, but yeah...it'll be fun.
Goodbye, cruel world...
I'm leaving you today
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye...

Goodbye, all you people
There's nothing you can say
To make me change my mind...
Goodbye...

Oh my God... my friend did the coolest thing: he bought twelve (TWELVE!) pumpkins and carved them of Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, Butters, Pip, Wendy, Tweek, Craig, Clyde, Token, Timmy and Jimmy! No joke! If only I had some pictures!

That is awesome. It must have taken him hours to carve all of them. His house is going to look great on Halloween..One of the ones I made tonight has Jack Skellington's face..It isn't hard to carve his face, just really time consuming to carve his mouth, and I have tons of Nightmare Before Christmas stuff to look at so I got the face right. The other two pumpkins I carved tonight, well I guess they are ghost faces, well they remind me of ghosts..I can't wait til my roommate gets home and sees them.

It did take him forever... it took him two days of his free time.

That's cool... I've never been good at carving things... I've tried (and failed miserably) at that kind of thing time and again...so yeah...that's cool how you guys (and your friends) have that much skill doing that kind of stuff.

I do wish people didn't throw out all those pumpkin seeds after they got done carving Jack 'O Lanterns...they could pack it in bags and send it to me...I could roast the seeds and season them... Imagine all that food I could have to eat over the year if people did that...

Edd, if I were doing a pumpkin this year, you'd totally get all the seeds.

I'm gonna do my usual Wednesday evening thing; got to Grandma's, watch Ghost Hunters, and tape South Park to watch when I get home.

^ ^;

It'd be awesome, except my parents would be really freaked out if packages from random people started to show up at my house...even if they were only pumpkin seeds.

I just thought of something: should I play my gig in my costume? I mean, the chainsaw would prevent me from playing the guitar.

See the "Halloween costume ideas" thread for more info.

Maybe...you can put the chainsaw on the stage as a prop or something?

No problem! Just make sure the crowd doesn't steal it and wreak havoc all night with it...

Or maybe our singer can use it to his advantage when he's up there...
