wow, we got fans of technical death metal, that's good!

We all know the genres death metal and black metal, here are the 2 songs that created them.

Black Metal - Venom http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHmzFVDjVnM

Considering this is a metal thread, I'm assuming people here like Happy Tree Friends?

By the way, if you've never seen it, check this out! It's ALMOST as awesome as South Park.

Oh yea! Has anyone mentioned Dream Theater yet other than Jewish Pride? John Petrucci is amazing.

Necrophagist is one of those bands...right? Make sure you have some Overkill and Annihilator as well.

If it's an iPod video, get Happy Tree Friends on it...it's like Itchy and Scratchy from The Simpsons, but more like if South Park made it...it's the GREATEST THING EVAR!1!!oneone!1!1

Okay I have a new greatest thing ever.

GREATEST THING EVAR!

Skip to 1:30 in the video and watch until the end, THAT is the GREATEST THING EVAR.

On a side note. What are peoples' feelings toward Metallica (83-89). I mean, eventually metalheads get so full of themselves they say, "the more underground a band is the more talented" Which is un true. The old Metallica (and Death Magnetic) are f*cking talented, have feeling, and all that sh*t. So people here aren't too full of themselves to listen to a "big" metal band right?

Also, if you're into Death Magnetic, they just released the video to All Nightmare Long. Watch it here.

We should try and get to page 666! It won't happen but it would be awesome if eventually it did!!!

That is why the first person to post on the "last person to reply to this thread wins" thread, on page 666 will win!

I like some metal, especially some European doom and goth metal, like Paradise Lost (my favorite), Anathema, (not metal anymore though), Sentenced, Amorphis, Lacuna Coil (until Karmacode), Moonspell, Fear Factory, Tristania, Draconian and many others. However, I don't listen as much metal as I used to a cuople of years ago, I've always been kinda eclectic so to me metal is just another genre that I really enjoy. What I can't stand are some cavemen type metal-heads that think they must be "true" and metal is the only thing in the world and the rest of music is sh*t and for gays and stuff like that. Last month I attended a Paradise Lost /Carcass show and Carcass fans were so rude and drunk and all over the place, and were booing PL, my fav band. I know they shouldn't have put both bands together in the first place, but still, although I've been to a lot of metal gigs, this one was scary, for the fans.

I like metal, but not some of its fans.
