I'm not a "Metal" guy, or even a rock and rool guy. I know what your saying right? why am i here? I am a big 2pac fan, and most of DR Dres and Snnopdogs songs, and a bit of easy e. And bone thugz n harmony.

I came on here just to let out a song i like. I'm sure it's from Killswitch, and im sure its called "this fire burns", It is CMpunks eb=ntrance song in wwe.

I dont know if that song classifies as metal, but it sounds like it to me. If it is, then that would be the only metal song i like.

Thanks, zac.

Killswitch engage is Metalcore, which by most people who listen to heavy metal consider "not metal". If you liked metal and listened to them, it would be strange, but since you don't, it's ok. Basically, you like a metalcore song, not a metal song. :)

That is why the first person to post on the "last person to reply to this thread wins" thread, on page 666 will win!

Dude! Three years ago, my friends on The Devil's Rejects message board ( yeah that is how big of a Rob Zombie fan I am, I even posted on a board for his movies for 2 years, and I hope there is another board for his next movie.) did something similar. We had a thread we decided to get to 666 pages. Only it wasn't just about metal, it was a random thread. I think some people on there talked about metal among other stuff. When we got it to 666, we closed that thread and made another one. What a tradition.

Anyway, keeping on the subject of this thread, I also like Tool and Disturbed.

Here are some amazing lesser known metal bands for you to listen to!

If you remotely like thrash metal listen to this
Chalice of Blood - Forbidden http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5frVZ_Zj4o0

If you remotely like death metal listen to this
Cryptic Realms - Massacre http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eScyLWMN_1w

Forbidden is one of the best thrash metal bands of all time, and Massacre is one of the best death metal bands of all time. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dude, that folk death metal stuff was f*cked up.

Here's a BRUTAL song, check this out.

Anyone ever hear Metallica's infamous 'circus riff'? It's actually REALLY awesome. Not really what I'd call metal, but damn man, it's orgasmic.

No! The thread is starting to go down! We need to keep it going!

We should make little metal-themed game things like:

If you could use one word to describe St. Anger, what would it be?

Y'know Metallica was supposed to have a song dedicated to Layne Stanley in 'Death Magnetic'. It was supposed to be called "Shine" I believe. They didn't have enough room to put it on, however; all they had to do was cut off a bit of the intros to All Nightmare Long and That Was Just Your Life and Shine could've been in the album.

It kind of pisses me off how Kurt Cobain (RIP) get's all the recognition and Stanley is forgotten. It also kind of pisses me off how "Tha grunge tried to kill the metal, but they were stricken down to the ground!"

When was the last time the mainstream genre was a good one? The early '90's with grunge? Oh music, how I've been betrayed by thee.

Alice in Chains is the only Grunge band i will have on my ipod... Layne Staley was on of the best vocalist of all time, Kurt Cobain got all of the attention, even though Layne Staley clearly had a much better voice. Alice in Chains more of a Metallic Grunge band though, so they were pretty metal for a grunge band, which is one of the reasons i like them.
