Game Time!!! Each person will rate the song the person above them posts, and post a song, make a link so they can listen to it. Rate it out of 10... I'll start.

That was pretty good. I'd say 8/10 the vocalists voice was a little like Dave Mustaine in a way but a bit more...not good.

Alright, for the first song just rate the intro, for the second rate the solo that comes in at 3:00, for the third (I don't know if you'd count it as a song or not all you need to know is that guy is brutal) rate the drumming. All three are from Necrophagist

first song, i love the bass intro 10/10
second song, i love the neo-classical influenced arpeggios in the solo, 10/10
Romain Goulan gets a 10/10, i saw that video before a showed it to my friend who is a drummer, he was absolutely shocked! He didn't know what to say!

I have heard most of necrophagist's songs, and i am getting them on my ipod soon (1-3 days)

No Boundaries - Michael Angelo Batio http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qG74eVb6V10 This guy is the fastest guitarist in the world. It is absolutely insane how fast he plays.

Oh, hey, on a side note Slayer and Necrophagist will be releasing their new albums around June, I believe, can't wait, have you heard Slayer's new song?

It's called, Psychopathy Red, God Listens...TO SLAYER!!!

Rate that song too, I'd give it 10/10 it seems Slayer's new album will be like Reign in Blood.

Yea, I think metalheads everywhere are starting realize that metal is starting rise again. Metal bands tend to release their albums around the beginning of summer because what's better then getting out of school for the last time and getting a new CD you've been waiting 3 years for?

Really though, I think rap is starting to fall, and metal will clime up again. Last year a couple of metal(ish) bands released their albums when summer began, Slipknot and Disturbed were two bands that I remember had releases, and though they aren't real metal, it's still something. Both the albums were great compared to previous stuff that was big that year...but other rap artists like Soulja Boy, or T-Pain, or T.I., or Flo Rida, or Lil Wayne were releasing their new stuff. But this year, there's no big rapper leading everyone, there's no one to save rap and when summer comes a bunch of metal bands release their stuff. Then stuff even like Slayer will be number one on the charts because nothing else is being released. The kids will check it out considering it's number one and realize that ONLY METAL IS LAW. And hopefully metal will rise. All I know is that soon, within the next few years metal will rise again. It's been getting bigger every year. (Can't f*ckin wait!)

So, the song, 10/10, the double bass pedal was making my ears bleed! Hell yes! I loves the creativity in the song too.

Here's The New Song by Metallica I can't believe it didn't make the album.
Rainbow in the Dark by Dio is also a great song, awesome solo. Dio has to be one of the best heavy metal bands.

...Imagine if Slayer toured with My Chemical Romance and Soulja Boy for the tour for their next album...That would just be blasphemy.

Anywho (gotta love that word) I think we should open this thread up to more genres, maybe more people would visit because right now it's basically just me and you. And all the songs I'm telling you to listen to, you already know because I only got into metal 5 months ago and I'm still a newb :? lol.
