What is your Phobia?

Evilcupcake, if you didn't mind and if it wasn't too personal of a question, I would like to hear more about your paranormal experiences.

Lets see, paranormal stuff doesn't scare me..I do believe in spirits and I do believe some of them are malevolent, but not all of them are.

I was scared of clowns, but the wierd thing is I got over it after seeing House of 1000 Corpses. Captain Spaulding was so f*cking funny. He is one of my favorite horror icons, and I have met the actor who played him ( Sid Haig) and he is a really nice guy..

Not scared of spiders either. I never have been, and even when I was a kid, I have hated seeing people kill spiders just because they are scared and they are thousands of times bigger than the spider they are crushing. Yeah, I wouldn't pick up a spider that I knew was poisonous, but I don't hate them, and I believe they have the same right to live as we do..I also think their webs are kind of pretty when you see them out in the woods around autumn.

However, I don't know if you would call it a phobia, but the idea of bugs getting in my food, really disgusts me.

Well, when I was 4 my whole family lived at my grandmas I had allot of imaginary friends as a child

for some reason on of them was named Morticia

one day I was sitting in my aunts room screaming bloody murder my mom asked what happened and I said Morticia scared me

that's not my only paranormal experience, but it's the least personal

P.S. my grandmas house was believed to be haunted

Well, since you say your mom is Wiccan ( unless I am mixing you up with someone else on here) you might know about the belief that children are more intune with the spiritual world than adults, and that sometimes when a child is talking to an "imaginary friend" it is a spirit of some kind. I won't go too far into things, but I have been lucky, I haven't really encountered anything that I would consider scary. Some of my friends have.

Fear of having no escape and small places.

It's a fear, I don't think I'm claustrophobic since phobia is much stronger fear.. :--D Phobia is a fear that has an effect on one's life. I can stay calm, I just refuse to go to small places.

Flying insects in the house, especially mosquitoes. I'm afraid of West Nile Virus (no, I didn't say Niles0827, I said West Nile Virus).

So I over spray bug spray in the house until I get the bug. Never mind all the spray I'm breathing. That doesn't bother me. It's getting rid of the bug that I am concerned about.
