Good Night South Park Studios

Postby zzyzx » Sun Dec 28, 2008 3:32 am

In the "Good Morning South Park Studios" thread, Hayley B suggests:

"In this thread you are basically making a Good Morning announcement towards everyone and you might like to include any plans that you may have for today."

So why don't we also have a "Good Night SPS" thread, where you can talk about what you have accomplished throughout the day?

in the Morning Thread you talk about your plans for the day, so in this Goodnight Thread why don't you talk about what you ended up doing today?

Good Night, South Park Studios :D

Good Night, South Park Studios!

Today I had to cover some fruit trees in my back yard (grapefruit) to protect them from frost.

Some shopping, internet, and visiting with my brother and his wife.

Just going to rest some, watch TV, and go to sleep.

Well... Last night I looked at the commune thread and I ever since 11 or so I wanted to paint a castle. I looked up a castle on google and painted it, took about 4 hours to paint, and looks decent. I partially blame ned for inspiring me to paint it... I also blame myself for reading it. After I got done, I drew for a while, in a somewhat depressive mood and then I took a nap because I didn't want to stay awake and be bored and depressed. Then I got up at 9ish and am posting on here.

...doesn't this kind of fall under the "What Did You Do Today" thread?

Well anyway, Goodnight, and may God bless.

^in a way, but the thread you refer doesn't have the added feature of saying "Good Night." I just thought that because there is a specific thread of "Good Morning South Park Studios" to say "Good Morning" and announce your intentions of the day, that there should be its corollary, that after your day is done, you can state what you actually did, followed by saying "Good Night." That's the difference. Merely saying: "What did you do today" doesn't necessarily infer (IMO) that you are also saying "Good Night."

When I say "you" I am using that word in general.

btw, I already went to bed, but I woke up, and can't get back to sleep. So Good Night Again, SPS :D

Goodnight South Park Studios.

My day was pretty normal. My work day went pretty fast. Delaware was pretty warm but windy today (I loved it). During the day, I wished to just listened to "All American Girls Professional Baseball League Song " from A League of their Own. I got it when I got home and now it will be in my iPod soon. :)

Now, I'm watching a little bit of The Sound of Music on ABC.

Have a pleasant Sunday evening, South Park Studios.

Good Night South Park Studios

Haley, thanks for the head up re: The Sound of Music

My grapefruit looks OK so far from the frost last night. Only in the high '30's tonight, so thats good for the grapefruit.

My sister-in-law went down with a friend to Pasadena to help decorate a float in the Rose Parade. So many volunteers now getting the floats ready for January 1

Every visible square inch of the floats have to be covered with something that was living in the plant family: flowers, pedals, seeds, grasses, etc. She is volunteering on the float put out by the City of Hope Cancer Hospital.

I'm going to finish The Sound of Music then off to sleep.

Should I say good night or good morning? it is 2:30 in the morning, and I am tired as hell..... Last night I went to bed at 4 and got up at 8:30. I then ate and got ready to leave. My dad came to grams at 12 and we were there until 5 pm.... due to him waxing his car. I've been trying to submit arts ever sence I got here, but the files were too big for it to handle and I had to make it smaller.

Maybe someday I will go on resnet at purdue and re upload the pics because it is faster there than here.

Here are the pics I have uploaded:
What Now Brown Cow?

Castle Painting

1st Sitting

2nd Sitting

Finishing Touches

Okay... now that my last picture is uploaded for today I will turn of my light, and go to bed. Night.

G'night, Hayley girl.

As for me, my thrill of the day was completing a lengthy job application..so tonight when I nod off to sleep, I can at least dream of waking up to a better job.

Of course, tomorrow morning, the reality of my current job will settle in and I'll be indelibly destined for another crappy day of soul-destroying drudgery.

:D :D Goodnight south park studios! :D :D
