Yes, I bought it. I'm on a diet, don't judge me! :(

Heh. "Disney Garden?" That's disturbing. :D

I wouldn't eat anything with the High School Musical brats on the wrapper. They disgust me.

LOL

Actually they are pretty good. I do put them in ziplock baggies before I go to school. I'll be damned if Imma let anyone see me with them in public.

I can't complain about the advertising - same stuff happened in the 70s when I was a kid. I don't think I ever ate anything because of the celebrity on the package though.

I dunno if they were Disney Garden or not, but I got some Grapes from a stand at Animal Kingdom, and they were the best I've had yet.

IIRC, I think in the 80s there was a Mr. T cereal. I guess by now I should be used to gimmicks like this but seeing a current pop culture icon's likeness slapped on a box containing highly processed, mass-produced foodstuff makes me uneasy if I can't avoid it when I'm out to get sustenance.

Merchandise is one thing, T-shirts, stickers, coloring books for kids and whatever is all fine, but when food is specifically manufactured to cash in on pop culture popularity, that's where it crosses the line to "that's not right, man!" :tweek:

I knew we (civilization) were in trouble, when I saw HSM hand sanitizer at 7-11. A few months later I saw it at the dollar store. (HA!)

Hmm, fruit and hand sanitizer? What kind of demographic is Disney gunning for with these products?

I would never buy something because a celebrity is endorsing it :/

I hope I don't know anyone in my age range who likes High School Musical. I do have a friend a few years younger than me who actually likes Hannah Montana, I guess she decided she liked it because the kids she babysits watch it with her. Can't hold it against her because she likes horror too and she went to that horror convention with me last year.

Well Will, it may be true that in the 70's ( and 80's and up til today) there were celebrities indorsing food products, but at least you didn't have to deal with High School Musical. And I said what I did not so much that I have a problem with celebrities and cartoon characters being on cereal boxes and such, I just don't just High School Musical annoying.

I've never even heard any Hannah Montana songs, and I'm more clueless on HSM than the four boys... :|
