Eh, we all grow shitty mouths when we grow up.
And although with a few problems with I/O crap, I was able to install Windows ME again on a virtual machine.

Good, you got it installed.
Here's a suggestion:
Make ISO's of all your install CDs for the Virtual Machine, and get a program like Virtual CloneDrive for ISO emulation. Saves time
I did it

Re: Last Reply Thread - "this thread has been growing a lot." :)
I had ISO's, and then decided to make real CD's out of them in case I lost the ISO's, which I did.

Ha, they're funny.
They were on my desktop computer, but I accidentally got rid of them when I installed Windows 2000 on it. I put XP, the original OS, back on after a week or two.

Why didn't you try data recovery?
Do you have those tools? hope so

Re: Last Reply Thread - "this thread has been growing a lot." :)
Well, there were no failures. I just felt like running 2000 to see how it runs on a 2005 computer. And it didn't run bad. Some of the programs were outdated, such as iTunes for Windows 2000. It didn't support my '08 iPod. And it didn't have very good wireless internet stability. And it didn't support the ethernet port in the computer, so I couldn't keep it, even though I got the sound and graphics drivers to work.

Re: Last Reply Thread - "this thread has been growing a lot." :)
It had a connection, but it was crapping out every couple minutes.

Re: Last Reply Thread - "this thread has been growing a lot." :)
Eh, I have Netgear. At least it's more stable with XP. With XP, it never craps out.
