Good news! The FCC has voted to preserve an open and neutral Internet! You know that that means, kids? Victory is ours... and the Internet's too! :cartmanhappy:

This one paragraph from the above referenced article sums it up quite well:

"The action we take today is an irrefutable reflection of the principle that no one, whether government or corporate, should control open and free access to the Internet," said Wheeler in his closing remarks. "The Internet is simply too important to let broadband providers be the ones making the rules."

After looking at the Apple watch, I am passing on it. While in the past I have been a first adopter, the limited things that this watch can do, and the huge price tag, will make me wait a few generations until the good can be enhanced, and the bad can be removed. So far, not impressed enough to spend any money on it.

Hmm. I usually follow the link from my Help window, but it doesn't seem to be there this time. I'll look on their site later.

The latest YouTube update for Android sucks. The back button doesn't work. I have to go home and reopen twitter if I follow a link.

its fun to develop for. I've known c for maybe.. 2 years and, atleast whats left of objective c, it would be fun doing memory allocation or just screwing with different mathematical equations on a small apple device

i wanted to make a fronted for the hdpvr on linux to play on the iwatch (by just dumping the video device buffer to disk and streaming) and trying to make a faux cable station with ajax or something, but i got sidetracked with the swift programming language, apples new programming language, and got intimidated that they'll change stuff and i have to spend time recoding

it'd also be nice watching wrist computers evolve, they're the next big step next to robots

'kaaay. Thank you, dear.

Actually I had to restart my computer the other day, and it automatically reminded me to update.

In other news, I'm thinking of getting this refurbed 10" HP convertible tablet we have on promo some times for $180. It runs 8.1 and seems like a good way to get a 10" Win tablet with a keyboard for a decent price. We sell similar off-brand units for the same price, and I wouldn't even waste my money on those.
