Average broadband speed in US rises above 50 megabits for the first time. All I can say is... whoa! :cartmanoooh:

And all I can say is... still not fast enough. But that's because we had the technology first and are slow to upgrade and replace it.

Facebook is trying to remove ad-blockers from its website and allow malware in some ads to destroy our computers. Fortunately, AdBlock Plus has bypassed the attempted restriction of ad-blockers. But Facebook is now using the code to sabotage AdBlock Plus' efforts and allow malware into our computers. All because Facebook (and some other websites) claims that ad-blockers are harming their profits and blocking friends' posts and pages! This is so stupid, it reminds me of a scene in South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut in which the American court member says, "F**k Canada!", and the Canadian Prime Minister shouts back, "Hey, f**k you, buddy!"

For sites like Facebook, it's either ads for everyone or subscriptions for people who are willing to pay for them. Same goes for this site. Since Facebook has pledged to be free forever, we'll get ads. We just have to beware of... Sponsored Content.

Well, Windows 10's Anniversary Update is causing a freezing glitch, but here's a temporary fix for the problem.

Note that this affects computers with the operating system stored on a solid-state drive (SSD) and apps and data stored on a separate drive.

Google to kill Chrome apps on Mac, Windows and Linux. All I can say is... I'm speechless.

After four years, Adobe announces that it's supporting Flash Player for Linux. A bit of a waste of time, wouldn't you say?

Google to slap warnings on non-HTTPS sites. I don't know about you, but this is starting to feel a bit unusual.

Adblock Plus has launched an advertising platform for its Acceptable Ads program. Just what we all need.

And final note: Adobe upgraded its Flash Player to 23.0.0.162. Check out the link to find out which version you have if you wish to upgrade, okay?

500 million user accounts with Yahoo were hacked in 2014 and affects todays users. So people should change their passwords and security questions if you haven't since 2014.

Here is the article about it: http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technolog ... li=BBnb4R7
