Newest bit of music you've bought

Postby AngusMcTavish » Sat Feb 20, 2010 10:58 pm

I'm trying out a couple of new threads just for the sheer heck of it, having seen these elsewhere. Just let us know of your most recent music purchase.

Best of INXS. Great stuff, especially the ones before they hit big. "Don't Change" was an old fave.

INXS, huh? I love their song "Need You Tonight", but that's the only one I can recall from them.

I haven't bought any music in forever, but the last CD I bought, I believe, was a Tom Petty CD called 'Damn The Torpedoes'.

I brought "Smile in Your Sleep" by Silverstein from iTunes last night.

If that counts. >_>

I don't really buy music that often anymore, since I pretty much have most of the songs I want, and what I don't like enough to buy, I just listen to on Youtube.

I did buy Rob Zombie's HellBilly Deluxe 2 on cd a few weeks ago. It is awesome. I am glad I bought it in the store, on cd , instead of digitally. The album art rocked. I have always appreciated it when I got a new cd and the artist took the time to get some cool art for the lyric sheets and such.

Seriously though, good music is worth paying a few bucks for.

But, yes, I would download a car if it were possible.

And just where do you think the ability to download from iTunes comes from? The sky?!?12

Good point. With Virgin and Tower Records gone, it's getting harder and harder to find the odd stuff I like here. Thank god for the mom&pop record stores, and the used book and music stores.

A few years ago I bought my dad a bluegrass cover album of Pink Floyd for his birthday.
I can count on one had the amount of music I've purchased since 2002.

The RIAA can go suck a diseased cock. I don't even have iTunes on my home computer. 99 cents a song? That's an even worse deal then when they were cornholing consumers 18 bucks for a whole album.

Long live the P2P networks!!
Yarrrgh, maties!
